Dined recently, while passing thru area. Ordered House Margarita & Chicken Taco Salad. Nothing special about Margarita, and I received a Beef Taco Salad. Ate 6 bites, accepting that I wasn’t driving back for it to be corrected. I tried taco shell portion & it tasted of burnt, old oil. It lingered long after having water to get rid of the taste, and no amount of their homemade hot sauce would get rid of that taste. Not likely to return. Tequila Mockingbird & Grab N Go Tacos (by Fisher’s) may give you better company.

We checked out Matteo’s because we’d never been and it is right across from where we stay every year. We were greeted with live music upon entering which provided a nice atmosphere and the staff was upfront with the fact that they were short staffed. The staff’s bickering with one another provided A level of entertainment, even if awkward, and you couldn’t help but continue to watch and be invested. However, the nachos were the absolute worst nachos I’ve ever had in my life. The chips were stale to the point of tasting months old and were weirdly chewy. Needless to say, we did not eat them all, threw them away, and found fresh, tastier nachos at Tequila Mockingbird.

Great dive bar atmosphere the night we went. Not in their busy season so it was quiet. Rockfish tacos and the sauce is so yummy! We also loved the beef tacos. They also have the world best margaritas!

Holy cow!!!! I can’t say enough about this place!!! My husband and I had the fish tacos ( grouper caught fresh) the homemade queso dip and a margarita!!! Blown away how fresh everything was! We spent way more than this for dinner the first two nights at highly rated local restaurants but I have to say that this topped them all!!!

Decent little Mexican bar/restaurant in Fenwick. Lots of locals dominate the bar area. But the real reason to eat here is for the homemade chocolate peanut butter pie. If it’s available order it, you can thank me later.

Flying an already altered American flag upside down on 4th of July is about as offensive as it gets to this Patriot. The food was horrible too, I found 2 separate hairs! Additionally, the staff became irate when they didn’t understand me on the phone. Good luck to this lost business!

DON’T GO! This place was the absolute worst! They don’t give fresh tortilla chips, it’s hard bagged chips. The salsa is not fresh, it’s jarred. The carnitas was extremely fatty and was only 4 little pieces. This place only has good reviews because it’s the employees that have written them. The original waiter was right when he himself said the food sucked and we should have Italian. DON’T GO!
