This review is long overdue, I’ve been going to Mattei’s for a long time now. Their food is outstanding. If you like eggplant this place has the best eggplant I’ve ever had. Not to mention unlike a lot of other places, Mattei’s loads up their sandwiches and gives you PLENTY! The employees are also very polite and happy to help. All of their food is delicious, I highly recommend coming here and trying it.

Excellent local Italian deli, great catering options. I would give a 5 star but prices have made it too expensive to eat lunch too often. One meatball grinder, one ham and cheese on rye, one soda and one bag of chips in no way should cost $30…..but that’s what they charged the other day.

Great Italian food!! Hot or cold, take-out dinners, sandwiches, grinders, all types of salads & etc. They also offer catering for your special event. Their eggplant parm dinner is awesome, along with their homemade meat lasagna dinner & the sauce is fabulous; our family loves Mattei’s. It’s the Go-To stop for a great dinner to take home & enjoy. What a great Deli. We ordered eggplant and meatball grinders, coleslaw and potatoe salad. All were very tasty, especially the eggplant parm grinders. Sauce is tasty, eggplant is cooked perfectly and bread is fresh. The grinders were overloaded with meatballs and eggplant. We will be going back soon for more.
