My family and I dine here almost every week. It’s our favorite sushi spot in town! The specialty rolls are all amazing and it’s fun to have them presented on a sushi boat when you’re with a group. We recommend the caterpillar roll! The staff are always sweet to my children too, especially Elaina! Atmosphere is always nice and they play good music.

Came for a table for 2 for the lunch special. The prices are a bit on the higher side but given the location thats understandable. The quality of the fish was average but the sushi rice was good bc it was soft and the seaweed was nice and crunchy. The waitresses were friendly but didnt really check in on us hence the 3/5 stars. It is alright for the area but I wouldnt come back.

I ordered the fried calamari, but it also came with three large pieces of fried zucchini. According to the menu description, it was supposed to include sweet chili sauce, but it didn’t. There was very little calamari overall, so if you’re really craving calamari, this probably isn’t the best choice.

I’ve already been here two times and have been impressed with the food. I am very picky when it comes to Asian restaurants because it is my all-time favorite food and I carefully read the menu read the reviews ahead of time and I’ve been trying to come here for sometime. The staff are so nice and the dishes were delicious. I have been eating sushi, almost my whole life, and it is hard to come by a really good restaurant. The soups, the sushi rolls, the appetizers all were amazing. Definitely coming back here multiple times again and already recommended to friends and family!

I had low expectations about sushi restaurants. Being that they’re almost all the same, but not this spot. Let’s start off with the waiter being extremely polite and patience with us while taking her time to explain certain items on the menu. The food was outstanding, and the pork bun was so flavorful the slice of pork was a thick cut and juicy. The rest of the food were delicious.

Had an amazing experience at Matsu Sushi! The sushi was incredibly fresh with a great variety of options to choose from. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I came here twice for lunch so far. I like the plaza the restaurant is in. Even though the parking lot seems a bit packed during the lunch hour, there are plenty of spots in that parking lot and we were easily able to located one.
Restaurant itself was very clean and relaxing. This place does close down after 2:30pm and reopen for dinner around 5 or 5:30pm. I got there at 2:20pm and was still able to be seated. And yes, I did call ahead of time to find out what is their last seating for lunch. In my opinion, I feel their service could have been better. It definitely ain’t the best. The staff was either tired or just not passionate about her work much.
Food wise I think they are not too bad. Typical Japanese restaurant to me. I ordered a Tonkatsu ramen for my kids. The portion seems normal with an alright soup base. I had the Alaskan poke bowl. Now that one the portion was pretty decent. I did substitute edamame with extra avocado. My husband ordered their Chirashi. The sashimi are fresh and well sliced in size and thickness. Portion seems pretty good too.
Will I come back? Possibly if I am around the area. But there are definitely better food quality and services Japanese restaurants options out there.

My daughter and I came across the restaurant while doing errand in the area. We loved the vibe and delicious food! They were busy on a Saturday night, so I would recommend making reservations. They were able to squeeze us in. The crab bun and Hawaiian poke bowl was so good! We will be coming back.
