Matcha Cafe Maiko serves premium Matcha from Kyoto’s Harima Garden. Our homemade menu offers a variety of floats, frappes, lattes, parfaits and our award-winning soft serve ice cream served in our freshly made waffle cones. The cashier was really nice and let me sample several flavors!! Considering that I don’t even really like matcha, the soft serve was really good!! I got a matcha latte with matcha and soft serve icecream on top. The ube was probably my favorite. The cafe is also really cute inside! Def would come again.

I love this place I go every time I come to charlotte to go to my doctors office. Unfortunately I came in and they removed my FAVORITE ITEM…. The banana pudding matcha . Ugh I could cry knowing this is off the menu. PLEASE PUT IT BACK!!! I’ll pay extra if I have to lol, please it’s so yummy

Love this place! Great matcha and unique flavors to add ice cream to your matcha drink. Some cons are related to the atmosphere and layout of this cafe. Lack of seating and tables so it’s not a good place to sit and relax for a bit. It can get very crowded and take a while to order and receive your food/drinks, but that’s to be expected when a cafe is good. Overall, would recommend this matcha cafe!

I love Matcha Cafe Maiko!! This is one of the best places to get matcha in the area. The menu has a great variety of options, but my personal favorite is the Blueberry Matcha. The matcha is always flavorful and made to perfection. The cafe is also cute and offers a great atmosphere. Employees are kind and more than willing to provide their recommendations. Don’t miss out on this place!

5 stars on matcha, black sesame and Ube soft serve like ice cream. Definate 5 stars in yhe chocolate chip cookie, because omg….its swallow your tongue great! To be clear, there is bot much selections over all, but that is there is delicious. Not overly sweet.
4 stars on atmosphere, as sorta smallish. Definitely not for large groups. Still nice tho.
5 stars on service but still a little slow because they custom make somewhat complex drink combos, etc.
In short, if you like matcha, you’ll love this place! Highly recommend!!

We stopped here, for the first time, because my daughter loves matcha. Malloreigh and Sarah took care of our order. They were very friendly and helpful. My daughter ordered a small ube and matcha soft serve and I had a 12 oz. mocha coffee with oat milk.
I knew that I would have to pay extra for oat milk which is fine and understandable, but to charge $.50 for the cup for the soft serve is kinda petty. The cost of the soft serve was already $5.85.
My daughter really enjoyed her ube and matcha soft serve. My mocha coffee had a burnt and bitter taste. The coffee wasn’t worth the $5.50. My daughter suggested that I put some of her soft serve in the coffee to see if it would taste better. It did taste a little better but not by much!
Parking was decent.

Stopped by here with my friend before a quick run out, immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. The girls behind the counter were so sweet and walked me through everything on the menu. It was my first time trying Matcha and they made it on amazing experience! Definitely need to come back for the Ube ice cream!

We were pleasantly surprised by the special dessert choices, which were all delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The cafe is decorated in a cute and stylish way, which makes the whole place feel inviting and relaxing.
We would definitely recommend Matcha Cafe Maiko to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying dessert. The prices are slightly on the expensive side, but the quality of the food and service is excellent. We will definitely be back again soon!

everything was just okay.. i feel like not even the vanilla ice cream had that much flavor???? the toppings were at the bottom of the cup and the cup was small so you’re making a mess just to get to everything at once. i was pretty excited for the matcha cake topping but it was dry and not sweet.
