Inside is your basic bar. Outside seating on Central Ave is the winner to the place and great to people watch. Took a while for service and ended up having to go inside for service. Beer was cold. Bloody Mary was nothing special. 2 ingredients and nothing dressing the top. As for pricing, paid $11 for a Modelo and Bloody so not terrible $ More on the divebar but maybe high end db? Probably would go back here with all the other bar options around.

Mastry’s Bar & Grill is such a cool spot, full of old-school charm and great energy. I love the vibes here, and it was an awesome surprise to spot a racer car display of my favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt, which added to the character of the place.
Tonya was an excellent bartender who made us feel right at home. She was so fun and engaging that she even talked our entire crew into buying Mastry’s shirts to mark the occasion.
Mastry’s has been part of downtown St. Pete for 90 years, and it’s easy to see why it’s lasted so long. It’s a true neighborhood institution with affordable drinks, friendly faces, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Happy 90th anniversary to Mastry’s, and I can’t wait to come back for another round.

Need a drink in a no non sense bar where you can let your hair down? This is your place. Family owned, known Lay in the day, Rick and Jay and Justin in the day. Great place ever since it was the Pink Elephant down the street. Very historical roots grown deep in the soil under central ave. Give them a visit next trip down.

Mastry’s is one of my favorite bars. It’s in the middle of chaos and it offers you a nice little reprieve. Taya (sp?) is my favorite bartender of all times. I’m also a bartender, so I know these things. She is very skilled at her craft, she’s quick and her personality is fantastic! Love Jay, the owner. He’s always so nice and is always helping out. Oh, and did I mention the drink prices? The most reasonably priced drinks you will find anywhere. Although, they do not offer food, they do have some snacks you can purchase. Love me some Mastry’s.

Nice place and I had been in there before rating and reviewing had been a thing online, but I have to only give it a three. First, I don’t remember my past experience there. Maybe it was awesome. My recent experience was awesome too. I had a good time. The bartender was friendly and the other customers were friendly. Someone was hard at work bringing brand new bottles of liquor and spirits up to the bar, but I had a draft beer and it was a bud select and to me it just didn’t taste good. It had nothing. It was wet and that was it. I was thankful that we were moving on to the show we were downtown to see.
