Definitely have to leave a review because our experience was beyond amazing. I want to begin to say thank you to everyone present the night of 02/14/2026, and making us feel so special. We decided this would be the place we go to for our dinner after eloping and there couldn’t have been a better choice. We made a reservation ahead, but it was a little backed up which we didn’t mind because it was Valentine’s Day so it was understandable, yet they accommodated and treated us as VIP guests immediately. From all the employees, to the food, drinks, ambience, and treatment is absolutely amazing. We appreciated and loved the complimentary desserts and they were delicious, I warned my husband I will definitely be craving those randomly lol. We definitely want to go back! Thank you all again so much for making our most special night even more so. Special shout out to Allison, she was our waiter of the night and she was outstanding. Loved her so much!

The atmosphere is everything……dim lighting with live music. The service was great. The servers are dressed in white blazers, very classy looking. I was most impressed with the food. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, just as I requested. The sides were even seasoned to perfection with more than salt and pepper. I definitely recommend this place, it’s worth it!

I recently visited this establishment for the first time, approximately three weeks ago, and was impressed with the exceptional quality of food and service. Our server demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, making us feel like familiar acquaintances. Encouraged by this experience, I decided to return. Upon arrival, the host and a passing server greeted us warmly, wishing us to enjoy our meal, which added a pleasant touch. Although we were seated in a private area towards the back, which seemed to double as an employee gathering space, the ambiance remained charming. Our server, while competent, seemed fatigued, and I had anticipated more enthusiasm and engaging conversation. Nevertheless, she efficiently served our food and attended to our needs. Notably, she went above and beyond by fetching Togo bags from across the street when they ran out. The manager stopped by to compliment my haircut, and while I would have enjoyed a lengthier conversation, he fulfilled his role. Given the outstanding food quality, I would rate the overall experience a 7 out of 10 in terms of consistency. I intend to return, anticipating that the typically top-tier service will be consistently delivered. On my next visit, I will request a server known for their enthusiasm.

Exceptional dining experience. We had a group of 6 and tried many things. Our server, Christian, was incredible. He made detailed and enticing recommendations, suggested great wine pairings, and overall took an exceptional meal to an incredible one. The Oysters Rockefeller are a must along with the Bacon. My favorite of all.of the entrees was the Chilean Sea Bass. Everything was very good.

From start to finish, our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was masterfully prepared, highlighting fresh, high-quality ingredients and incredible flavor profiles.
What truly elevated our evening, however, was the service. Our waiter, Christian, was exceptional. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing perfect recommendations that made our meal even more memorable. It is rare to find such a seamless blend of world-class cuisine and genuine hospitality. We will certainly be returning soon!

We were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and my husband, who lives with a medical condition that causes visible scarring on his forehead and head, wore a hat for comfort. The first manager, JB, approached him and told him he needed to remove his hat. He informed us, awkwardly, that it would be ok if he had a medical condition, but, he didn’t think to ask us that first. My husband was uncomfortable disclosing his medical condition, nor did he need to disclose it. He waited to escort my husband to the restroom, to make sure he took off his hat. My husband was flustered and embarrassed, to say the least. It was extremely awkward & ruined the mood, immediately. Still feeling uneasy I complained to our server, Ginger, and she said she would escalate things and address the issue. The other manager on duty, Ajay, approached us and claimed his attire violated the dress code. He had an attitude immediately as he approached our table, with the false pretense that he cared. He started rambling about the dress code because I had complained to Ginger that a few other patrons at the bar were in direct violation of their dress code. However, nothing was said to these patrons, at all. One of the patrons at the bar was wearing a sports hoodie—clearly against your written dress policy—yet Ajay explicitly stated that this did not violate the dress code. One patron was wearing patterned, yoga leggings with Converse. Another patron was also wearing Converse. Furthermore, Ajay boasted about working in previous fine dining establishments, in Chicago. He tried to intimidate us and kept boasting. Mastro’s is “new money” in terms of “fine” dining at Easton. If you want classy, well established, and old school-The Refectory & Jeff Ruby’s have been around for years. I feel that we were also profiled due to our ages. This double standard was not only inappropriate but discriminatory. We strongly believe we were targeted due to both my husband’s medical condition and our race, while other patrons were not subjected to the same scrutiny.
This experience was humiliating, unacceptable, and in direct conflict with your stated policies. It is also worth noting that our server, Ginger, was wonderful and professional throughout the evening. BJ & especially Ajay didn’t handle things well at all! It made things tense and ruined our evening. The complimentary appetizer did not appease us. Why were we not informed, at the door, about this if it were an issue? We would have complied or explained, privately, that my husband has a medical condition. None of the hosts addressed this with us. Furthermore, they didn’t address the patron at the bar wearing an Ohio State hoodie, AT ALL. Nor did they address the other two patrons in athletic attire. Per their own dress code, the patron wearing the Ohio State hoodie falls under the athletic wear category. Especially with the “imagery” for Ohio athletic attire. If you’re going to enforce a dress code-know your own rules.
To make matters worse-the food was extremely disappointing for a fine dining restaurant. We had to return two dishes—both filet mignons. The first one had every gradient of cook temperature in a single cut. Parts of it were raw, others overdone, and the top was completely charred. Our friend had ordered his steak Medium. On top of that, the filet was served fully sliced, which we’ve never experienced before and were never informed it would come out that way. The second filet was medium rare, also fully sliced. It was supposed to be cooked “Medium Plus”. For a steak that’s over $70, the quality and presentation should be far higher. The execution and consistency of the dishes were not up to the standards of a restaurant that prides itself on a “fine dining” experience.
The GM will just respond with another generic, AI fabricated copy & paste message to this one star review-so check that out below. So to the GM-don’t bother. This has already been escalated beyond you.
To any other patrons, local, or visiting. AVOID this place at all costs.

I dined here Friday night with my husband and to say the least it was quite busy. The hostesses were trying to accommodate everyone and they were trying their best so we truly appreciated their hard work. 35 minutes later we got sat, our server Bryan was very attentive and checked up on us quite often. The food was really good, the live singer was good although quite loud.

Surely the dress code only counts for certain folks as I was stunned to see sports hoodies and tube tops while dining.
Food was stellar, waited quite a while after being seated and drinks took forever even though the place was only 1/2 occupied.
Music was so loud folks had to raise their voice that every table within 20′ could hear each other.
When staff has to use a flashlight for pointing out the seafood tower one may want to address the lighting, dark!
Gave it a try but will stick to Jeff Ruby’s or Ocean Club and enjoy conversation with friends at our table vs the entire room.
Will say the wine sommelier was top shelf, friendly, engaging, and very knowledgable making the birthday dinner experience wonderful!
Wife was happy with her dinner once we sent her steak back (undercooked), sides fantastic and birthday desert was great.
Walking out shook my head at the dress code sign and patrons underdressed! Wait for drinks and check (30 minutes) was enough will stick to Del Mar, Ocean Club, or Jeff Ruby’s for the ultimate dining experience!

This was our first visit and it was fantastic. As soon as we walked in through the doors we could tell our experience would be amazing. Fine dining at its best from being greeted as we walked in through dessert we did not have one complaint. The food was very high quality and serving size was more than plentiful. The wine list had a lot of choices.
