Outstanding! The food is very delicious and the atmosphere is quite enjoyable with the old brick alley and cozy interior. Mikita was wonderful and welcomed us and made it feel like home. I had the lamb korma with garlic naan. The portion was large and full of flavor. It was so good, that if I had a larger stomach I would have ordered another. This restaurant surprised me as it is well priced and in the heart of the city. I am truly impressed and delighted to now have a favorite Indian restaurant in Charlotte.

This place exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and seated right away. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
The food? Absolutely delicious. I ordered the spicy chicken bowl, and every bite had the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Grilled chicken so good with beautiful presentation Portions were generous but not overwhelming.
Shoutout to the staff—they were fast, polite, and genuinely seemed to care whether I was enjoying my meal. The guy who work here he’s doing everything by him self he’s the cook he’s the server he’s the bartender i mean I’m amazed by his work skills he explained to my guest very nicely.Great food + outstanding service = I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered on Doordash on a busy Saturday night, right at closing time, during a crazy night with a Panthers game going on. I was preparing myself for a mediocre experience as all these factors usually mean disappointment. Doordash said I had 5 mins to place my order…and boy was i surprised. Not only was my order hot and fresh. It was sooooooooo delicious and unique. By unique, I mean the chefs take on very common indian dishes was superbly made. Samosas were soooo crunchy yet flaky. Inside was soft and flavorful. Even down to the chutney. My Chicken Korma was straight from a nawabs palace. I picked all ten fingers and my plate. I will be back multiple times a week! And recommend to all my friends. Good job! After a long day at work I couldn’t ask for anything more. Best Indian food in Charlotte! Sorry curry gate!

We recently visited this place in Charlotte, and tried following :-
1. Hakka Noodles – 3/5 (Good Taste)
2. Chilli Paneer Gravy – 2/5 (Okayish, Needs Improvement, Paneer slices were quite small)
3. Coke
Sufficient space to Sit. Fast Service.

I recently visited Masti Indian Restaurant & Bar and had a mixed experience. The food was average overall, but there were a few highlights and some disappointments.
On a game day special, they offered $5 for 2 slices of Indian flavor pizza, which tasted good and was a pleasant surprise. However, the boneless chicken biryani was a letdown. The rice was undercooked, and the chicken wasn’t tender, lacking the quality expected in a good biryani. We also ordered masala chai, which was a redeeming part of the meal, served in a unique tandoori style and tasting quite good.
Unfortunately, the dahi puri didn’t meet expectations either, as it lacked flavors. The ambiance was just okay, and the location wasn’t the best, so one needs to be careful. Despite these issues, I found the restaurant to be decent overall.
If they can improve on the consistency of their dishes, particularly the biryani and dahi puri, it could be a much better dining experience.

The location is in an alley amongst bars and other businesses. We went during the night time so there were people standing outside of bars. The restaurant had great customer service and food. The only thing is that we got there late so the bar was really loud with their music. It’s totally understandable since we went there late. We did request to have the music a little lower but the bartender was not having it. If you want good food late at night you got it. If you don’t mind rap music then you are set. Other than that the food was amazing and the waiter as well!

The food is very well made and fresh. The atmosphere is so cute and quaint. I will say 20 is a bit much for Indian buffet but the lunch buffet on weekdays is definitely a bang for your buck. It’s about 15.99 per person and you get so many options. Lastly, boy do they have one of the best naans in the city, I like em on the thicker and fluffier side.

Hands down the BEST Indian cuisine I’ve found in Charlotte – and I’ve tried many. None compare to the consistency and full flavors of Masti’s cuisine. One time I actually met the man himself, Gopal, who cooks this incredible food. Best guy ever, and he knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. I don’t understand the sub 4.8 star overall rating – truly blows me away considering how delicious the food is. The quality of the lamb/chicken are always top notch. My favorites are the lamb korma (super thick and cashew infused, which is unlike any in Charlotte, making it my personal favorite), tikka masala with chicken or paneer, the chili chicken and chicken 65. Always incredible. I get “extra spicy” for all the above.
Furthermore, their prices are better than you’ll find anywhere else in the city, especially for being right in the heart.
PLEASE TRY MASTI. I enjoy this food beyond comprehension. It’s always such a treat. If you’re picking up, say hello to Gopal.

Raj and Mikita run an amazing Indian restaurant that makes you salivate from the memories days after your meal. I had the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan and a Taj Mahal beer and I was floored by how delicious each item was. The naan was so colorful and light with that hit of garlic I love so much, and the butter chicken was tastier than fresh vegetables from the Garden of Eden. I will be back again and again!
