THE ORIGINAL KABOBERY® Dubbed The Original Kabobery®, Massis Kabob has been around since the 1970’s and has a devoted following. Massis Kabob specializes in Mid-Eastern cuisine served in a quick-serve format. Our concept is simple: give customers what they want and do it at affordable prices so they keep coming back. Back in 1976, when the first Massis Kabob opened in Glendale, serving dinner-sized plates with high quality meats and sides was a fairly new concept in fast-food, something we are proud to say we have perfected after forty years of service. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to bring our customers the Massis experience.
Founded in 1976, this counter-serve eatery specializes in Middle Eastern kebabs & pita wraps.

In the photo you can see my original receipt and the refund receipt. I placed my order and ended up waiting about 45 minutes while hearing several order numbers pass mine. By the time I finally got my food, the mall was already closing.
I looked at my plate and said, “Number 13 shows 7 pieces of meat, but I only see 4.” The lady helping me—who seemed like the manager—told me, “Oh, it’s because we sell it in ounces.” I didn’t want to make a big deal, I was hungry and had my kids with me, but I told her, “Well, I bought it because of the portion shown on the menu picture.” All I got was a quick “sorry.”
So I asked for a refund so I could go eat somewhere else. She said, “Sure, $18 has been refunded.” When I checked the receipt, it showed only $3 returned. At that point I had three of my kids running around, so I had to leave.
For me, it wasn’t even about the money—it was about the moral responsibility to refund the full amount, and the fact that what they gave me looked more like a kids’ meal compared to what was advertised. I won’t recommend or return to this place. In fact, if someone asks me where to eat in the mall, I’ll say, “Not there.”
I didn’t even get the lemonade because by the time my order number was called, there wasn’t any left.
This time I got the beef koubideh and the side salad was spoiled, can’t go back to complain cause I drive to this place like 20 minutes, so when I got home I noticed the cucumber salad was bad! Not cool not cool!
