Ordered pizza for my son and me late night 9pm closes at 10. Quoted 10 minutes. Pizza burnt tasted horrible. Ruined the night thanks. Why a 1. Food and service has been hit or miss for 20 years. This is a great family run restaurant that serves authentic pizza and pasta dishes. There’s a room to host a small event with their catering. The menu has something for everyone. Appetizers, dinner size salads, pasta dishes and dinners. I believe one of the owners served us, it’s wasn’t busy for lunch but I definitely thought it should be. So happy we stopped here.

My husband and I always have a slice of pizza here before or after we go to the gym. The food is light and refreshing. Consider its price I think it is really worth better reviews on Google. I feel bad if I don’t speak up.
The pizza tastes great and light, not oily at all. And some pizza place the food quality fluctuates but here it is always fresh and light guaranteed.
It is nice to have a nice food place like this in the community and I really hope they have more good reviews as they deserve. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We went here and got Fried Gnocchi, Caesar Salad, and a Cheese Pizza. We were excited about the Fried Gnocchi but it had a weird aftertaste. The Caesar Salad and the Cheese Pizza were both decent. The crust wasn’t very flavorful, the pizza was soggy, and there was a ton of oregano on half of the pizza. Would not particularly recommend.

The ambience of Massimos is pleasing & comfortable from the decor to the cloth napkins. I frequented Massimos back when it was on Hamilton Ave several x/week with go workers. I loved the huge Originale salad. Brought my husband for dinner to this Robbinsville location. We started with a wood fired oven tomato pizza for an appetizer. It took well over 20+ minutes to arrive at our table. Being a Jersey girl who LOVES pizza, I know it only takes a few minutes to cook pizza in a wood burning oven. The pizza arrived, very white & flat. This pizza was obviously not cooked in the wood-burning oven as advertised. Instead of tried to pass off this lame excuse of a wood fired pizza, they should have been upfront & told us that their “authentic” wood burning oven was not working. The eggplant Parmesan my husband ordered was decent. The tomato sauce was very good. They first delivered my Ischaiola Salad with no shrimp or portobello mushrooms. Before I could question it, the waiter brought the five little shrimp and three small pieces of portobello mushroom that they “forgot” to put on my salad. This entrée salad was much smaller than the Originale salad that I used to order from their Hamilton Avenue location. Very sad how things change over the years. They really need to do better. I now understand why they are never busy. Very disappointing visit Massimo’s…do better.

Good salads and pizza but a few of their other items are disappointing. The grillata salad is my favorite as it has a bunch of different toppings and veggies. That with chicken added is the best. Their boneless wings are just frozen chicken tenders that have a texture of chicken nuggets. When we’ve gotten their paninis they tend to get soggy or they get the order wrong. We basically only get salads or pizza from here so if that’s what you’re looking for you’re in luck.

This review is for the pizza only because that’s all I had here so far. My friend picked me up 2 slices of pizza from here one white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes, and one red square pizza with basil and a sesame crust. The white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes was good! The red square pizza which they call Coppa was delicious! It was definitely the winner of the two. The red sauce was so flavorful and tasty! The dough had a nice crisp on the bottom, and the top was soft just how I like it. I recommend Massimo’s Cucina!

The most excellent seafood manicotti EVER! Shrimp. Scallops. Homemade pasta. Excellent light red sauce. Hot bread with dipping herbs. Mixed greens salad. Absolutely perfect meal.

I will NEVER go to this place again. Here is my receipt from tonight. The guy over the phone told me 52$ I go there and it’s now $70 I said something and the guy at the reg was clueless. Started saying how the guy who took my order charged me all this extra stuff. He said the sauce for the Pasta was an extra $5. Etc. this is bullshit. I’ll never support this place again
