Cheese pizza was very good. The staff members were pleasant and helpful. Grilled chicken salad was a tad small and the addition of cucumbers and also more tomatoes would have been nice. Order at the counter and seat yourself which is good sometimes because it’s quicker than dealing with a server taking your order. Self serve soda & iced tea was a plus. Nice decor, multiple tvs with sports channels, very clean restrooms and comfortable seating. Located in a nicely maintained strip mall.

My brother told me Jim Grote worked at on of these before he opened up the first Donato’s, and it was also the basis of his franchises. I’m a born skeptic. So: The crust is very close. Better, imo. It’s more done. Massey’s does not use scales, which I learned was actually a great thing, because I didn’t feel like I got screwed. The toppings were piled and were fantastic. The fella building pizzas was friendly and accommodating, unlike the lady taking orders. This is not the cheapest option, but it is well worth the cost.

We’ll be back! Clean/modern atmosphere, really unique (loaded toppings thinner crust pizza), buffet options during the day (including salad bar) and many other options. Family friendly, outdoor covered dining options, and what I loved were the sanitizer options before you approach the buffet (and under 10 needs an adult sign as well). The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. No server/more self service styled place.

Stromboli was great. Restaurant very clean and staff friendly. The salad bar had an extensive selection. Music was Christian contemporary which we enjoyed and the patio outside had multiple fans to cool you off on a summer day. Decor was very modern and enjoyable.

Small pep pizza was perfect. Loads of pep. Price are high, only due to the amount of toppings.

We love Massey’s we will be visiting Pawleys Island in September and this will be our first stop when we arrive. We tried it for the first time on our vacation last year, and fell in love! The staff is so friendly, and to all of the bad reviews, try to run your own business during a pandemic, with short staff, then complain about wait times, and stressed employees!

Walk in and young lady taking orders only has one hand, the other is being occupied feeding herself while she waits on patrons. As I wait on my pizza, I get to watch entire kitchen staff eating watermelon in the back, while cooking everyone’s food. 60 minute ticket time on 1 pizza! Terrible, this place needs to do better.

We ordered from here twice during our visit to Pawleys island. The first time we dined there and the pizza was actually very good but the appetizers were horrible. I don’t know how you mess up chicken wings and cheese sticks but they did. I have to believe they don’t have a deep fryer because the product itself seemed decent quality but the finished cooked product was all mushy and really gross. We ordered carry out the 2nd time and if you’ve had masseys before you wouldn’t think it came from masseys. It was a completely different pizza than the first time with very little toppings. Just focus on consistency and quality and you could have a good thing. Hope this helps you improve. It seems this is a common occurrence even in ohio where they were born. Seems like they’re opening too many franchises without enough training. I would stick with the pizza and stay away from the apps until they figure it out. Good luck to you. A perfect pizza from masseys really is delicious!
