Suicidal Babies
A restaurant with an identity crisis. The decor is tacky, the menu is confusing, and the staff are rude. Our waitress was nice. My pasta came out cold in a piping hot dish, not made fresh. My husband’s pasta was oily and bland, also not fresh. I sent my food back because I knew instantly if I ate it I was going to get sick. The big pretzel appetizer was the star of the show and will be talked about for many nights.
I wasn’t going to leave a review until I heard who I can only think was the owner yell at a cook for not properly heating up my food, which wouldn’t have happened if they just cooked it to begin with.

I normally go to the New Town location and always have excellent food. That was not the case at the Winghaven location. I got a to go order tonight and the pasta was very dry, despite paying for extra sauce, and was so bland I threw it out. The cheese garlic bread was way over cooked. Waste of $33

This place has taken a turn for the worse in the last year. The food is very good, but nothing else. Service is poor, there are no food specials at happy hour and the drinks specials are weak. Also, it’s become more of a dive bar and not what we always loved about Massa’s.

No words can describe how aweful and offensive this food is to Italian cuisine……..have no idea what they were trying to pass as chicken….frozen, watery seafood….order placed and we didn’t get it, and other was wrong, and the others were either cold or tasted like a can….Glass was CRACKED and then waitress poured into another glass IN FRONT OF ME! Do NOT go here! We already feel sick, and we just walked out….This place would be a perfect canadate for Gordan Ramesy Secret Service….This place is stuck in a corner, and based of this experience; it should stay there….

Vibe was great for dinner as well as what happens thereafter. I loved the DJ in the late hours!
Main entrees were cold and kinda lacking taste. Drinks took a bit of time for not that busy of a bar. Requests had to be repeated.
But still a good time. I will definitely go back for the lake patio view – so fix all of the above before I return please.

Picked Massas because we wanted to dine outside overlooking the lake. Arrived at 5pm and majority of the seating outside was reserved and was never used during the course of our visit. The side salad lacked flavor and was a waste of money. I ordered the Tortellini and it had no mushrooms or peas whatsoever. My dining companion used the restroom and said it was dark inside and filthy. It was my first visit in a while and with so many nice restaurants around, probably my last. Peter was our server and he was very good.

This location was probably nice when it opened many years ago. In need of a facelift (in many ways) it’s reminiscent of the opening shots of a Gordon Ramsay episode.
The tea was metallic and very strong, turns out the same container is used sometimes for coffee. Maybe that’s why the taste was off, maybe not. Don’t order the iced tea
Service was very slow, especially for a restaurant that’s only 1/4 full. Your other drinks will only be replaced or refilled if you track down a server. Tables seated before us were still waiting for their food even after ours came out. Another table that was seated after us eventually got up.
We tried the chicken bolognese which comes with a gelatinous yellow/green sauce. The side of pasta had about an inch of water in the bottom. The chicken parmesan sandwich comes with dry chicken that is either overcooked or sat under a heat lamp for too long. Neither the red meat sauce nor the yellow/green bolognese sauce tasted fresh. Most likely from a can?
For a chain that models itself as a better option than Pasta House, this location is lacking. We won’t be back.

First visit ever, and it was a seat yourself place. We sat for 15 minutes with absolutely no service whatsoever. My husband had to announce our presence to the staff that were more concerned with their conversations. We left.

Absolutely excellent service!! Attentive wait staff and bussers. Waitress was friendly and very good at taking care of our family of 7. Very nice ambiance… darkened room for evening dining. Clean. Family and couples friendly. Outside patio too. Casual. Great prices. Food was wonderful!! Prepared quickly and brought to the table hot. Spinach artichoke dip was wonderful with crispy crostinis. Pasta dishes are very generous- Tuto marre was prepared perfectly as was the cajun pasta. Chicken parmesan was wonderful too. House salad is actually creamy ranch..different for an Italian restaurant. They do have Italian and good poppy seed dressing. Pizza is traditional st louis style and very good. Full bar. The gooey butter cake was absolutely, melt in your mouth. You can get ice-cream with anything and thr warm brownies were great. Will definitely go back!! Well done!!
