We come to Ohio, from Michigan, literally just for this place. Been coming here since shortly after the place opened in 2011. They food is always PHENOMENAL and the staff super nice. Anyone who hasn’t tried Mashiso yet, is missing out lol

Been here a few times with different friends. I normally get one of the noodle bowls and have tried the different meats and some of the different sauces and add one. What’s nice is that you can customize your bowl between different meats, veggies, sauces both warm and cold. I would do 5 stars for food, but sometimes the bowl don’t seem as full even when I order same things as last time. That’s the only thing they can really improve on. I’ve been making an effort to try new food spots. Today I tried Mashiso. I ordered a vegetarian bowl with fried rice, bok choy, the spicy sweet sauce and some additional fresh veggies. The food was okay but needed LOTS of soy sauce to add flavor. This would be a great place for people who have a simpler palette however for me personally it didn’t have enough flavor.

Placed an online order after work for two bowls. Got hone a couple hours ago and my daughter begins to eat her bowl and found a fine strand of hair in her mouth while chewing. I immediately called the store to report it and was given to a manager who said he would pull my order up after a brief hold. He came back to the call and said he could not give me any credits and I said I’m not eating either of the bowls because we are disgusted. And he offers me a partial refund so I asked why would I need to be inconvenienced fully because we now have no dinner. He said well there’s only 2 guys here and neither of them have long hair I said I’m not saying it’s a piece that would be down to a lady’s bottom but come on, we’re African American with locs and braids. So he made another comment and talked over me! I said I’m not spending another hour coming back there can you email me two free bowl certificates or something he went back to they don’t do credits and a gift card has to be purchased so I said sir come on now he like I don’t need the food back and I’m not saying you’re lying. What does that have to do with anything???? He finally agrees to issue me a refund. I’m sad because I prefer their food over #Chipotle and will never get to eat this again because of the service we received.

Stopped in at the recommendation of a friend. I had mentioned how much I liked Bibibop and they said this place was far superior.
Honestly I don’t get the hype.
Service was fine, biggest complaint is the food. The options seem disjointed, and don’t fit well together. The vegetables were fairly bland, I was expecting Kimchi and got seasoned cabbage instead. The meat was stingy in proportions, and you could tell both the meat and the noodles were pan fried with a decent amount of oil. Hunan sauce wasn’t anything to really write home about.
Don’t let this review deter you, this may be someone’s jam. It just really wasn’t mine.

This is so good and tastes fresh. I get the spiciest stuff in my bowls (sauce, jalapeños) and man was it hot & spicy. Not many spicy foods own up to its title. This spot hits.
For non spicy goers; fresh tasting food, fresh all around.
Crew is cool & chill. Helpful to a rookie who’s been there less than a handful of times.

Really disappointed in this. Ordered the Korean beef bowl with kimchi. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as traditional korean barbecue steak, but honestly it was similar to something I’d expect from Taco Bell. The meat was so chewy and clearly not freshly cooked, just not good quality. The kimchi was more like seasoned cabbage as most of it didn’t really seem fermented. The rice was kinda starchy and unpleasant, one of the main things that put me off. The overall flavor was just not good and I couldn’t even finish the bowl. Not sure if other reviewers had better experiences because they had to drown their bowls in sauces to cover the quality issues or not, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We went after the peak lunch rush and really enjoyed our food. The staff was friendly and walked us through the options. The bowls that we ate were fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend.
