My sub was pretty good and more than I could eat. My wife thought her sub was just average though. Her bread was dry and crumbly but the soup was good.

I ordered a Hawkeye in person no mustard. I said it twice; no mustard. But I still got it with mustard. For $11 + tip it’s a great sandwich. Except when you don’t like mustard and you drove 20 minutes to get it. Then get home and find mustard on it!!! I stopped ordering because of issues like this. This is my first time back in probably a year and now I see nothing has really changed except the staff again. My guess is it’s much better during the week. It wasn’t busy and only 2 other people in the establishment today. I hate mustard so much and am now eating this after I attempted to scrape the mustard off.

Hi Sonny! So my review was a little harsh and I apologize!!! I was starving and bit into mustard and it was yuck I was not expecting.
I appreciate your response and absolutely do not want a sandwich on you. It’s perfectly ok and it was still delicious!!! I’ll be back soon and I will triple say no mustard and make sure to check next time!
Again I appreciate you Sonny!! Have a great weekend!

Ok hear me out… come here as fast as you can and don’t think about it! Had the Italian #1 “The Mash Way” and it was phenomenal!!!!! Everything was fresh and tasted amazing!!! The staff was all so friendly and the dining room was clean and kept and great! I have lived here for a long time and passed this place countless times and I am regretting it!!! We will definitely come back!!!!

First time here and the service and hoagies were awesome! I love that they offer alfalfa sprouts! There was a constant flow of people coming in for phone orders and the phone never stopped ringing. We will definitely be back!

This is absolutely my favorite sub shop.
I love the way they make the subs. You can tell a good business when the owner is always there, and that’s the way it has always been every time I’ve been there.
Great service! Great food.
The first time I went to a mash hoagie was back in the ’80s in Melbourne. It was so happy to find this one in Palm Bay it brought back nostalgic memories.

Paid 1327 for a steak and cheese sandwich sub the cheese was halfway melted throughout the sandwich. The steak was cold. The veggies was cut, large chopped undercooked. The whole sandwich was completely nasty.

I love mash hoagies!! The best place to go when you are hungry. The people here are so nice and welcoming!!!! I ordered a classic Cuban sandwich and fries! Who could go wrong with that? But it was super delicious. Each and every-time I go I just fall more in love on how good the food is. I recommend highly!!

I love Mash Hoagies but today I ordered online and asked for xtra mayo. What I got was ridiculous so much gobs of mayo were falling out. There was so much mayo it was not enjoyable. My daughter couldn’t even eat hers. I called the store and person who answered didn’t even try to help just said sorry about that after told it was not even enjoyable ( barely edible) Had to throw it away. I know things happen but the lack of good customer service was just as disappointing as the sub was.

No rating for Atmosphere as I ordered delivery. Food was excellent, delivered on time, and correctly. Everything was great; I can’t recall ever having a bad experience with this place. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be that the online ordering system was a little confusing. Option selections were sometimes “mash”ed together, making some options not make sense depending on which item was being ordered. For example, I ordered a “Houlihan” sandwich, which comes with 3 specified cheeses, yet there were options for indicating if you wanted cheese and what kind. Some were labeled with “Sub”, which at first I thought might be referring to the sandwich itself, but then realized it probably meant “substitute”. That would make sense, but why would I substitute a particular cheese for one that already comes with the sandwich? Did I need to specify cheeses if I already wanted the ones that come with it? Likewise, if I wanted to order Chilli(sic) Cheese Fries, why would I elect to “Add Chili And Cheese To Fries/Tots”? However, the option *would* make sense if I was ordering regular fries or tater tots. Overall, though, no complaints, thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, and received a coupon discount to boot. Still my favorite hoagies in the area.
