Nice small Japanese steak house. The tables and surroundings were clean. The kitchen is open, so you can glimps in there at any time. The staff were very friendly and worked to serve their customers. The food was cooked to order fresh and had decent flavor. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The fried rice was rice with soy sauce, no eggs or veggies. The tuna steak was a bit fishy. I would suggest washing it before cooking it for a better flavor. The teriyaki chicken was swimming in sauce and was delicious. The veggies were just zucchini and onions. The fried cheesecake delicious it was a cheesecake egg roll with syrup on the side. Overall, it was a nice little mom and pop shop. The prices were great. If you haven’t already. Give this place a shot.

Very disappointing. I used to eat here all the time and it was great. It has been a few years since I’ve been, and we took a family member from out of town here, and it was embarrassing. The waitress couldn’t even pronounce the items on the menu. The food tasted good, but the portions were ridiculously small, and besides one other person, we were the only people there at lunch rush on a Saturday. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, very, very disappointed.

The best thing we had there was sushi. The other dishes were definitely not anything to brag about. And let’s not talk about the server! We’d ask him for an item and he’d take entirely too long to come back with whatever we asked for and it wasn’t even busy so that wouldn’t have been an excuse.

There should be a more thorough health inspection at this place. My friend and I recently just ate here and although the food was good and the customer service was decent, we ended up falling very ill. Our symptoms aligned with food poisoning but it is possible we contracted some kind of stomach bug from the food here. I don’t like to leave negative reviews however I feel like this should be brought to everyone’s attention.

Awful experience. Sushi from Kroger or Publix is much better than what I just ate. Ordered the sushi dinner special that came with 2 rolls. Sushi was mainly just rice and every roll tasted the same… flavorless. Asked for spicy mayo and was given siracha. I’ve never had such a bad experience, won’t be back.

My husband and I eat here every now and then and usually enjoy it but were disappointed tonight. Before ordering sushi, he asked for clarification on if the “sashimi” would be nigiri style, in which the waiter said it would be. After waiting much longer than needed for the plate, it was just fish – no rice. When he asked the waiter where the rice was, he just stated he didn’t know. He offered to bring us a side of fried rice which of course isn’t what he wanted. Waiter never offered to take the sushi back to have it fixed. After my husband began eating it, his salmon was frozen solid and overall the food was not good. He left an entire plate of sushi and the waiter never asked if we had any issues with it, etc. The hibachi plate we ordered also had undercooked steak. The sushi I ordered for myself was okay, but the rice in my nigiri was falling apart, I couldn’t even use chopsticks with it. Overall, we were displeased with the quality of food and service we received.

Salmon and Yellowtail were awesome, as were the rolls we tried. Eel was a little “mushy” but had excellent flavor. We will be back!
