All of the food was delicious and well worth the price! I went a little overboard ordering, but it was worth it Even though she was really busy helping out tables and I was just solo dining, my waitress was very kind and provided excellent service, filling up my water throughout dinner, explaining how to eat the shrimp head that came with my omakase, and so on. Definitely will come back in the future!

I made a brief visit to Masamune Japanese restaurant for some sushi to-go.
The restaurant was small and serene with adequate seating and a sushi bar. Employees are pleasant. The menu offers many traditional Japanese dishes, fresh sushi & sashimi, signature rolls, udon & soba, Ramen, and much more at reasonable prices.
The California roll was freshly made with an even amount of imitation crab, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber skillfully wrapped with sushi rice and nori. Absolutely delicious!

I had a really great time. This place has true authentic quality Japanese food. Our waitress was Super nice she recommended some great dishes. I recommend you just get a bunch of Items and share it because you’ll really be able to explore the menu. This place is a chill vibe, not overwhelming very nice and calm atmosphere. I wish I could remember the names of all the dishes but to be real I don’t. They were all really delicious though. if you are picky this is not the place for you.

Probably one of the most authentic and close to Japanese sushi style places I’ve visited in Miami area. The perfect nigiri in every way. Selection of fatty tuna. Wild salmon in the menu. Unfiltered Japanese beer, a rare one! A must place to visit.

Went here for a birthday dinner and had an incredible experience. I ordered the 8-piece omakase special, and while there was a small mix-up with the listed price due to a smudged menu board, the quality was so high that it was worth every penny.
The execution at Masamune is flawless. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, highlighting the freshness of the fish. A masterful sushi experience—I’d give it six stars if I could.

We started with the firefly squid — tender, rich, and perfectly dressed in a savory sauce. Then came the toro topped with uni, and it was nothing short of divine. Melt-in-your-mouth texture with a buttery finish that just lingered in the best way. The uni with ikura (roe) was a visual stunner and packed with umami — a real treat for the senses.
The wagyu roll was another standout — beautifully marbled beef seared just enough to enhance its flavor without taking away the freshness, paired with greens for balance and topped with a touch of wasabi. Finally, the white fish sashimi served with ponzu sauce was light, refreshing, and plated like art.

Came in with my sister tonight and ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings for an appetizer which we gobbled down pretty quickly. Then I ordered the chicken curry soup for myself as an entree, (asked if the chef could make it spicy for me which he did) and it was very VERY delicious. Our server Starr was very knowledgable on the menu as well and gave excellent service, we’ll be back for sure

Found this establishment on instagram about six months ago and have been dying to try it ever since ! Finally went to the restaurant yesterday and food was okay regular honestly – nothing life changing , service was TERRIBLE. Had the opportunity to dine out side on the patio about a quarter of the way through our dinner my boyfriend noticed a dead roach on the table next to us. Not even two minutes later we found 4 LIVE ROACHES either ON or NEXT to OUR table. Told the server we wanted to movie inside cause of the situation since it was not his fault and his only response was “ oh that’s so normal You’re on the patio and the dumpster is behind you ” which I found extremely inappropriate Inappropriate for him, not having an ounce of compassion for the situation . once we moved inside, the server did not even try to accommodate us or even make us feel better about the situation… What does that mean cleanliness wise for your restaurant … does the service team not try to upkeep the patio? Do you guys not spray for those situations? And if it is so normal, why do we not get a warning before we sat out there? what does that mean for your kitchen? If they’re on your patio then are they getting in the restaurant?. We not only ended up still paying our bill but it seemed like our server did not even care about the situation and treated it like nothing happened. so if you’re planning on going here, do not sit on their patio because it is completely infested and “normal” to the servers.
