Masala Zone Covent Garden is widely acclaimed. Evening Standard has rated us as one of London’s six best Indian restaurants; Daily Telegraph as one of London’s best restaurants. Take a walk into the newly renovated dramatic dining space – with the vibrant display of Rajasthani puppets blended with the opulence of old wooden temple doors. It is one of London’s most dramatic restaurants. Indulge in the flavours of the streets of India over lunch or linger over an elaborate dinner with friends. Exciting new dishes have been added whilst retaining the well-known core offerings.
Curries, thalis & sweet snacks in a colourful Indian eatery decorated with pop & folk art.

Loved the Rajasthan/Lucknow-style atmosphere, it felt very authentic. Staff were polite and attentive.
Just note that a service charge was already included before tipping. Would come back again!
The place is such a good choice to enjoy a delicious dinner with a very comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. The dolls hanging on the ceiling make such a special view.
Service is outstanding! You are welcomed with such care and friendly staff. And the food is just delicious! Had the chicken wings as a starter and some lamb curry with garlic naan. We also shared some rice and had an incredible dessert. A bit too sweet for my taste but still a wonderful brownie with ginger ice cream.
Can only recommend the place!
This is the 5 star standard that all Indian restaurant should be compared with.
The location is great, just off the main Covent Garden zone. The service was truly outstanding but not intrusive all set in great surroundings.
I ate the shoulder of lamb curry with pilaf rice. The lamb was succulent and tender with a delicious sauce. The rice was not just a simple rice but included extra items which really enhance the flavours. All my dining compatriots enjoyed similar culinary delights.
A really Michelin star experience….
The service was outstanding – attentive, friendly, and with great recommendations. The food was truly delicious, and the atmosphere very pleasant: even though the restaurant was full, it never felt too loud.
We were especially impressed that we managed to get a table on a Friday evening without a reservation. Overall, highly recommended for both the food and the welcoming service.
