I am a HUGE fan of this restaurant! Fresh clean amazing food and GREAT STAFF! I been coming here for years! It’s my go to! I brought my mom for her bday and they even played LAS MAÑANITAS for her without me even asking! Food is great! Drinks are great! and NOW they offer FRESH HAND MADE TORTILLAS for the burritos! Stumbled upon Masa after a study session at Kaleidoscope. I’ve driven by copious times but walking by it (hungry) was the impetus to check them out. I was surprised by how busy yet efficient the service was. Indoor seating was at capacity so they offered the patio or bar seating for dining in. The bar was lively and aesthetically appealing. I ordered the Bad Bunny piña colada drink and upon my first sip I was instantly teleported to a beach in Mexico! The Baja fish tacos were superb—so much so that I cleared the plate! And the esquite corn (side dish) did not disappoint. Highly recommend Masa if you’re in the area & down for Mexican cuisine.

This is a great hidden gem that I just found out about. If you’re looking for a place to go for a date night, or with the girls, or after a long day of work, I would consider come here. It’s a whole vibe and the prices are very reasonable. The food was great and the adult drinks were delicious. We got the tequila flight and it did not disappoint.

I’ve been to Masa Taqueria in Richmond and their drive-thru location a handful of times, and I keep coming back because the food is consistently delicious and satisfying.
On my most recent visit, I had a shredded chicken taco, a shredded chicken tostada (accidentally got pinto beans instead of blac…oops!), a chicken in green sauce tamale, and an carnitas entrée plate. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The tamale was especially good, and moist. The asada was really flavorful , and the taco was solid, as always.
In the past, I’ve also ordered their shrimp tacos, flautas, and burrito, and both have always been consistent and tasty. One small gripe: when I order a burrito with just beans and avocado (no meat), I always have to ask for more beans. It tends to come a little light otherwise, but you are paying a full price. So I usually order inside if I want a black bean and avocado burrito.
Also, sometimes you have to ask for sides like salsa or carrots/radish mix, which can be a little frustrating if you’re grabbing food to go and you come home and don’t have it. That said, the team is friendly and helpful once you speak up.
Don’t miss their horchata, it’s one of the best I’ve had. I also really like mixing it with their strawberry jugo drink for something a little fruity with that.horchata goodness.
Overall, Masa Taqueria is a solid go-to for flavorful, casual Mexican food with great drinks and mostly smooth service.
Also, they make crazy cocktails. I liked it better during the pandemic but it’s still really good. Now you just get a standard cocktail in a glass with an added fruit or flower. But you’re going to pay a little bit of a heftier price for a pretty photographic cocktail, you just gotta ask. I’ll add those pictures here.

The Logan’s
We absolutely adore the food at this establishment! Every visit is a culinary delight, with each dish bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. The staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. This spot has quickly become one of our go-to destinations for both breakfast and lunch – we simply can’t get enough of it! While we wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating for its delicious offerings, we do have a couple of minor observations. Firstly, finding parking can be a bit challenging due to limited space in the parking lot. Additionally, the packaging for takeout orders could be improved, as it’s sometimes a bit tricky to handle. However, these are small inconveniences compared to the overall outstanding quality of the food and service.
One highlight of our visits is indulging in their freshly made fruit drinks, especially the refreshing Cucumber Pineapple blend – it’s an absolute must-try! And let’s not forget about their mouthwatering Super Burritos, which are simply divine and rank among the best in the entire Bay Area. We have eaten here several times and the food has always been tasty. Today we went for lunch and ordered 4 Al Pastor taco’s. The pork was pork crumbles and it tasted like hamburger helper. There was no pineapple. I asked for some and the cook dug some out of the container of mystery Al Pastor. We have ordered the tacos before, so this was disappointing and just gross. I understand businesses need to save money, but at least adjust the menu to reflect the change.
I wish I took a picture, but I just wanted to leave. The staff were all friendly and it’s not their fault.

Ate from here twice. Just apps and drinks at the bar the first time. Had some great potato flautas. Chips and guacamole were on point. Then I did doordash. What really impressed me was there to go packaging skills. Everything was separate and nicely packaged. The Chile relleno was euphoric! Everything was seasoned properly. Good job guys!!!

Stopped by Masa Tamales and Taqueria in Point Richmond and it did not disappoint. The place has a great vibe, relaxed and welcoming, and you can feel the family love that runs through it. The food and drinks were some of the best we’ve had in a while. The owner is a really cool guy and clearly cares about both the food and the people. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re anywhere near Point Richmond.
