It was pretty empty in there today at noon for lunch. I got the sesame chicken. It was ok. Tasted more like orange chicken. I do like their salad and everyone else enjoyed their food. Over all a decent experience.

absolutely unreal experience. i was going out on a cute date excited for a normal trip to masa (as i am a regular and local). we both try to order the chicken hibachi, “oh no chicken.” okay no chicken where most of your menu is chicken and we came at 12. we both get the steak, one medium, one well done. they were both cooked almost the exact same, rock solid. at least 30 seconds to chew for each bite and thats WITHOUT the completely raw vegetables. it was impossible to cut the huge chunks of broccoli and they didnt even give us a knife. every vegetable had a crunch and i had to basically knaw through it. after waiting almost 30 minutes for our cold, rock solid food, i ran to the bathroom. zero toilet paper on top of everything. lastly, i come back to the table to them filling our glasses HALFWAY with cherry coke after eating the whole meal without a refill. thank god i had to pay 60 dollars (not including tip) just for poor service, poor food, and 1 1/2 cherry cokes. unreal.

The sushi was decent & reasonably priced.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. They do need to work on their bathroom cleanliness, as it made me question eating there. But, thankfully, no one got sick!

Beautiful space with plenty of seating. Extensive menu with reasonable prices for the quantity and quality of their food. Quite possibly the best crab rangoon I’ve ever had. Their sushi & sushimi platter for 2 was delicious and came with egg drop soup and a small salad. Highly recommended and I will most definitely make the hour long drive to try more of their options. Been about 5 times now and they Never disappoint! Consistently fresh and delicious. The specialty rolls are exquisite and the service is fast, friendly and efficient.

I have been here multiple times. The sushi is always so fresh and well made. The fish is always fresh and plentiful. Got the jalapeno spicy crab appetizer tonight and it was phenomenal! Freshly made and put together, the flavor blew husband and I away. No frozen bag food here! So nice having an option like this in Galesburg!

personally look forward to coming here every time, the crab rangoons are always spot on and the sushi is delicious and always tastes fresh. the speciality rolls are a perfect sized serving for one person, but the bento boxes are great if you want a little taste of everything. I always reccomend this place to people as I believe it has some of the best food around.

Food was bad. Steak was Raw fried rice had no flavor. Our server didn’t speak much English. Was freezing cold at the restaurant. Bathrooms were disgusting. Do not go. Would not recommend.

We’ve been coming for 4 plus years and today we were disappointed. The smell was awful. The hostess was seen handling trash and immediately bringing our food out to throat table after. Then we watched the sushi cook walking around the restaurant in his gloves that he never changed.

We used to really enjoy this place, its gone downhill severely. Came in today and it smelled terribly of mold, they lost their liquor license, and the service was the normal subpar usual. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re closed soon.
