Located in same shopping center as trader Joe’s.
Cozy, a bit more modern feel than the one in Anaheim. Still with their famous sesame bread.
Came here on a very rainy day, and on this visit I tried some staples of Taiwanese cafes.
Sesame bread: fantastic texture. Crispy on outside, and inside, chewy and rich with plenty of green onion. A MUST GET.
beef roll (beef wrap): very tender beef and so much green onion. Comes with a side of hoisin sauce but has plenty of flavor to stand on its own.
Beef noodle soup: a luxurious, rich broth with just the slightest kick. Something you may not be used to: The hand cut noodles are very very thick- Like spaetzle thick. They are quite enjoyable, but if you’re hoping for more noodle chewy, I would try the regular noodles. Overall, the flavor of the soup and the beef cannot be beat!
Will definitely visit again to try the lamb, and would definitely recommend.

Looking for some great Chinese food in South Orange County, then this is the spot for you. Next to RoadRunner in the same shopping center as Trader Joe’s.

The price is right and the portions are perfect!

The service is fantastic!

Had lunch here, great selection of halal Chinese food. They were about to close for afternoon prayer and evening food prep but the lady went over and above in serving is and making provisions so we could complete our meal comfortably.

MA’s House is a Halal Chinese restaurant in Laguna Hills. The service is good, the food is good . Large portions and moderate prices. I liked the Mongolian beef . The fried rice has a bit of burnt odor; the eggs were over cooked . The fried rice isn’t too oily nor sticky. The Black Mushroom was so delicious . The overall smell of the place is good; no cooking odor . I highly recommend it. Thanks to Migale for a good service

A comfortable “family style” authentic Chinese food joint. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because the decor is more like a country-style kitchen and lacks much of anything “Chinese”.

But if you want good food, definitely come here!

I recently visited Maz House Restaurant and tried the shrimp with vegetables, lamb stew noodle soup, and orange chicken. While the food was decent, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service. The server was rude and showed no effort in providing good service, yet still insisted on being tipped. His behavior left a negative impression, and the only reason I maintained respect was because of his age.

For me, customer service is more important than the food itself, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations. I don’t plan to return, even though the food wasn’t bad.

The food at Ma’s Kitchen is phenomenal, and for the most part, the service is impeccable. There is a server/host from China (his name is escaping me) who is amazing—he makes me laugh every time, and I always look forward to seeing him. The manager is great as well.

I took two stars off because of a new staff member, Rosa, who was extremely difficult to interact with. She lacked basic courtesy, rolled her eyes at everyone, and scoffed when we asked for simple things like condiments or extra napkins and plates. I have never felt so dismissed in a restaurant setting. Thankfully, the manager understood our concerns and assigned us a different server. But goodness—Rosa was one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever encountered.

When you first walked in it’s nice the little lobby but when you go in the restaurant part it’s very cold and people having their cell phones loud so you can enjoy a quiet dinner. We had our Jasmine hot tea served in a dirty teapor. My utensils and the bottom of my cup had food on it. Not a very clean place and that older Chinese man that stands there and watches you doesn’t say very much at all. It has potential they definitely need to work on this place number one is clean dishes

Been going to the Anaheim location for a while and wanted to try this one because it’s closer. The sour cabbage with lamb hot pot is good. And prices are the same as the one in Anaheim. The decor is bright and clean. Accidentally ordered the thin bread, but I think I like it more than the thick bread now!
