Mary saw me taking a photo of her hours after closing on Tuesday and came to the door to ask if my husband and I would like lunch. She fixed us a big take-home container: chicken, rice, limas, mac & cheese, cornbread. $15.25 incl. tax. Tasty! And very thoughtful.

Best little spot to catch lunch in Hurtsboro! The food is great. The locals / regulars that attend are friendly and welcoming; service is great! Good old country cooking on the buffet or you can order from the kitchen. Make sure the bring cash, they don’t accept debt/ credit cards.
