Great little diner that will fill you up without making you take out a loan. The bread is always toasted so perfectly you have to pause a second before the first bite. Just pure midwest comfort food.

My first time trying this place. The food looked so good in the pictures. I ordered the a corned beef sandwich Mary’s pita(which comes with American Swiss bacon and onions) through doordash. For the pita I added tomatoes. When it arrived there was zero tomatoes and I also thought there was not any Swiss on it. I called asking can I come back up there to have it remade they transfer me to someone who asked what the issue was. I explained and they said that it probably melted under the chicken(fine I didn’t make a big deal). She put me on hold came back and said “yeah it was for sure Swiss cheese on there (with an attitude) so you can get a refund for the tomatoes through doordash or come and pick them up.”
Now she already kind of sounded like she had an attitude the way she was saying all this But I let it go because hey like she said it probably melted underneath. I said okay I will come and pick up the tomatoes. It then sounded like she was trying to tell me a time that I could come but it was hard for me to hear her. I asked her to repeat herself and after the second or third time I said “it’s hard to hear you, The phone is breaking up.”
She said ” well I’m on a landline so it’s not my phone. It must be yours” with an attitude. I just thought that was very rude and disrespectful when I was nice and friendly the whole time I will never dine this restaurant again.
P.S. I took the wrap apart and there is what looks like a quarter piece of cheese. for $17.70 I would expect enough cheese to be able to see it.

My first time visiting this wonderful restaurant and it won’t be my last,Husband and I had breakfast I’ll attach photos. Our waitress was great! The food was delicious comfort food. I had the salmon cakes and grits with eggs my husband had the fully loaded grits with toast, huge portions. . Salmons cakes were the best I have come across. . I’m from the south,I didn’t think Michigan could serve up such a southern delicacy but they sure did here at Ms.Marys Grill. . If it’s your first time you won’t be disappointed. . Have huge selection including lunch and dinner menu.

Cute decor and open early for a delicious breakfasts served by pleasant wait staff. Perfect place for me and my friend to gather for a get together. I live far away and we needed a place to meet up for a meal and some catching up, before my friend had to go to work in Livonia. Mary’s Grill worked out so great for us. A very pleasant morning. Thank you Mary’s Grill of Livonia. You are great!

Their half pound bacon cheese burger is one of the best! Add fries and a drink for 4 dollars more. You can’t beat that for $17 total! I’ve also gotten their French Toast breakfast with eggs and bacon which is delicious! Servers are always attentive and food is served promptly. Also, inside restaurant and restrooms are kept clean.

Breakfast at Mary’s was so good that I wanted to hang around for lunch, lol! The place is spacious and clean, and the service is top-notch. The generously-portioned food was served hot and fresh. I enjoyed Mary’s House Omelette, which featured chicken chunks that were tender, not dry. The Mary’s Royale Skillet was another winner, and enough was on the plate to feed two people. What did it for me, though, was the grits. O. M. G. Those. Grits!!! Smooth, creamy, full of flavor, and with a nice texture, I barely had to add any salt or pepper. These were the best grits I’ve had outside of the South and I would definitely order them again. Mary’s also offers catfish dishes with eggs or spaghetti, which I did not try but definitely caught my attention. I’m looking forward to enjoying a meal here again.

Mary’s is a 10 out of 10.
My latest try was the corned beef eggrolls with thousand island dressing…SO GOOD!!!
The other menu items that I’ve tried stays true to the integrity of a classic diner/coney establishment. Great food, generous portions, reasonably priced, and hospitable staff.
