It’s a rare thing for me to give a five star review to a restaurant. However, I have attended this particular restaurant for years for breakfast and lunch. I went back again today and just had to share.

The server that we have has been very rude. We are still here seated while I am writing this. He is an older Hispanic male, wears glasses, had no interest in our order, was annoyed when I asked for more napkins. Disappeared completely after bringing our food, up until he walks by and drops a check as he keeps walking without any acknowledgement. I requested jelly for our toast and our “waiter” could not even be bothered to bring the tiny cup of jelly by himself. The food was mediocre and the waiter a complete waste of a man, unfortunately it looks like he is the manager around here. Probably won’t come back, the Bellini cafe across the parking lot is far superior and the waitresses more polite & engaging.

The dine in experience is perfect. It’s a small establishment that feels like home based on the interior design. I ordered the biscuits and gravey it did not disappoint. Tasted fantastic and the coffee was nice and hot. Food quality here is absolutely worth the price. 100% will be coming back here

We came on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., there was ample of parking at the lot shared with other businesses. No wait to get in or get seated. The place could use an upgrade. Customer service was efficient and friendly. Spanish and English is spoken here. Plenty of options on their menu. We ordered coffee, pork chops and chilaquiles. It took about 10 minutes to get our food. Pork chops were served with choice of eggs and choice of potatoes (hash browns or country potatoes). Pork chops were very juicy and tasty. Chilaquiles were served with carne asada (choice of cooking level), choice of eggs, and a side of tasty spicy salsa. The dish was delicious, but chilaquiles were cold. Then bill was brought, and I had to go pay at the cash register. Would go back.

Great hole in the wall place to eat. First time there for breakfast and the Huevos Rancheros were delicious. I wish I would have taken a photo but I was at a work brunch and didn’t want to look childish, but the beans were creamy, the tortilla was crunchy and the eggs were cooked to perfections. It was not too spicy and I wasn’t even that hungry but I ate every bite on that plate. I cannot wait to go back and try different items on the menu. The folks I was with got the Chilaquiles and it is definitely on my next up list, the steak looked yummy and I am excited to try it next time.

Marvin’s is about as home cooked as it gets. The omelettes taste like the ingredients were chopped to order, the sweet potato fries aren’t reconstituted mush, and none of it was particularly greasy. I’ve been having stomach issues recently, and it’s partly because of the bad oils other diners use. Not this place, for some reason the oils here are fresh and don’t upset my stomach. Bravo for great service on top of that.

It’s been a while since we’ve been. We would go to the “old Marvin’s ” on the Blvd frequently.
