I’m extremely frustrated with the drive-through service at Martin’s.

Today I pulled into the drive-through at 11:13 AM and did not leave until 11:28 AM — 15 minutes for a simple grit/mixer bowl. This is not the first time I’ve experienced excessive wait times here.

I was picking up food for my elderly grandfather, and sitting in a drive-through line that long defeats the entire purpose of having a drive-through. There was no explanation for the delay and no sense of urgency.

If this is normal operating speed, management needs to seriously evaluate staffing and efficiency. Customers should not be waiting 15+ minutes for basic breakfast items.

Very disappointing experience.

Staple fast food, but the BLT is always my go too item to order!

Service at this location is inconsistent. Some days the cashiers are friendly and polite. Other times they can be curt, bordering on rude. Breakfast is always good. The drive-thru and dining room can be very busy, especially on Saturday mornings. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

This place is so hit or miss. For the love of all things holy, you guys are a biscuit place so why are the biscuits always burnt and crumbly?? There’s an occasional rare day that the biscuits are great and fluffy, any other day they’re crunchy, burnt and crumbling everywhere. The chicken has shrunk. If you ask for extra butter to offset the terribly dry biscuit, they won’t give it to you. Like…ugh. Please bring back the Martin’s of my childhood. Three stars instead of one for that one cook that can get the biscuits right.

They were a little skimpy with the gravy on my steak gravy biscuit and skimpy on my eggs. The food was good and the service was fine.

Haven’t been to this location in over a year because of my last experience with the food and service. Decided to try them one more time because I had a taste for some country style breakfast early in the morning. I ordered a tenderloin breakfast plate with an extra tenderloin cheese eggs and a large side of sausage gravy with a coffee. The meat was not chewable at all and still had soggy flour in the folds, the eggs was burnt and cheese was just thrown on top instead of being mixed in, the biscuit was hard and burned on the ends, the sausage gravy was really watery and the coffee tasted burnt. Like why even put this in the plate at all. In total it was about $20 for this meal. Never again…

Not my first choice of location and only will stop by out of convenience. The biscuit sandwiches are sometimes hit or miss (meaning fresh tasting or just thrown together). The customer service isn’t the bed via drive thru not sure how it is inside but I’ve only encountered rude people.

Avoid this location at all costs. I’ve had pretty bad experiences here the past 5 times I’ve been (with phone records to prove it), but today may be the worst yet. I ordered 3 biscuits, an order of bacon, and a large hashbrown. Well, I get my food and pull over to check it… the bacon was missing and the hashbrowns were ice cold in the center and hard as a brick. I went inside to handle it and stood at the register for about 3 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Mind you, it’s 6AM on a Saturday. It’s not like they were anywhere near busy… well, the man working asked “what I needed” and I told him.. he took the hashbrowns he’d already given me and dropped them in the fryer… and then gave them back to me in the bag you see pictured.. grease was literally dripping off if it. I knew it would get me nowhere complaining to him, so here we are.

Avoid this particular location like the plague.

Best breakfast food ever!
🙁 Update: I’ve started trying not to go to this location because the food has really gone downhill in the last year or two. And unfortunately I just moved to the downtown Powder Springs area so I was excited that this location was so close but I keep getting overcooked biscuits and dry breakfast here. So I drive all the way to the one off Hardy parkway. The other day I didn’t feel like making the drive since I live so close to this one and I got a bacon egg biscuit and this is what it looked like! I ordered a large biscuit but the contents inside were more like for a small biscuit. Not too mention how overcooked the biscuit was.
