Had a great experience here, as I was looking for some authentic Indian food when I was in Tampa. Kerala dishes were excellent and tasted just like how we cooked it back home. Halwa and cutlets were really good too. Biryani was average for me, tho, but everything else was immaculate. Martin is a nice guy and you can meet him when you pick up your food. The place is not really suitable for dine-in and is more of a carry out place. Did not regret driving an extra hour for this!

Drove out my way to pick up the famous banana leaf fish , very disappointed when we took the first bite . Left over from the weekend or cooked day before . Should t be selling fresh fish for the price they charged .didn’t eat the rest .

We decided to try Martin’s Indian Cuisine for Saturday lunch after hearing about it from a friend. Although it was a 30-minute drive from our place, we were excited to explore their menu.
Upon arrival, we realized Martin’s is a takeout-only restaurant. After browsing the menu, we ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Curry, Kothu Parotta, Fish, and Chicken Cutlet. The wait time for our order was about 45 minutes, and we headed home eager to try the food.
We started with the Chicken Cutlet, which was decent but could have been better. Next, we enjoyed the Chicken Curry with Butter Naan, which was a highlight of the meal. The curry was flavorful, with perfectly cooked chicken and spices that truly delighted our taste buds.
The Mutton Biryani was another standout, with tender, well-cooked mutton and great seasoning. I had high hopes for the Kothu Parotta–it was good, but the flavor didn’t quite meet my expectations. Lastly, the Fish was well-cooked and seasoned with a delicious blend of spices.
Overall, it was a satisfying lunch from Martin’s Indian Cuisine. We’re looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the future!

There are a few places we revisit, just because there is a restaurants that we return to. In Martin’s Indian Cuisine we have found one such place, only our third in the Central Florida area. We were in the area and hungry, so decided to try this authentic Kerala cooking. We were in for a treat!! First the food. We ordered their black chana curry, vegetarian curry, with rice, (APPAM! -7 stars goodness of light, soft and yummy!) Jackfruit biryani, Malabar paratha (genuinely authentic) and starters which we sat and ate on the premises, along with chutney. We also ordered hot tea for takeaway. We took our food to enjoy as a picnic in Davis Park, (on this beautiful spring day) which is just a 4 minutes drive away.
Also, Martin’s a primarily a takeaway, though they do have comfortable seating to enjoy their snacks, which we did. There are clean restrooms to wash up if you like. We had the onion Vada style pakoras and the the homemade samosas. Both were delicious!
One can absolutely feel the pride in preparation and the passion poured into these staple items. Even the rice was excellent and delicious by itself, with a perfect smattering of raisins and cashew bits. The salt was perfect, and even the mild spice level we asked for, was perfect.
None of the dishes were olive or greasy, bar the fried onion Vada. Even the samosas were not over friend and did not make my hands overly greasy. The chutney is delicious too.
The place is very clean, obviously lived by the locals. The tea was the perfect ending to a lovely meal surrounded by 200 year old trees. We will definitely be back with our family!

This is a great Indian restaurant here in Brandon. Martin is a great guy who does all the work by himself. He’s also friendly. Because of this, please do takeout and be patient. The guest area is very small, and has a few waiting chairs. Indian music can be heard playing sometimes.
The food itself is excellent. The butter chicken and tikka masala both have good flavors and very enjoyable with the rice on the side. The same can be said for the vegetable samosas. However, I found the naan bread just fine. Overall, would recommend for anyone in the Brandon area.

Martins Indian Cuisine is an outstanding spot for anyone who loves authentic Indian food, offering an exceptional mix of both South Indian and North Indian dishes. The real highlight, though, is their impressive range of South Indian specialties and snacks, especially those inspired by Kerala’s rich culinary traditions.
The Kerala parotta is perfectly layered and flaky, just the way it should be, and the appam is soft, fluffy. Paired with their flavorful and comforting mutton stew, it’s an absolute must-try combination that showcases the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity and quality.
If you’re searching for delicious, well-crafted Kerala-style dishes along with a wide Indian menu, Martins Indian Cuisine is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! ⭐️

I recommend this place for all who haven’t had indian kerala cuisine. They let you order ahead and the food is fresh. The price is very reasonable for great quality and quantity food. Must try: kothu porotta, kizhi biriyani, porotta, beef dry fry, etc. Will be visiting soon.
