Rich delicious food in a wonderful setting. The patio is beautiful, but if you prefer to sit inside, the atmosphere is great as well. Generous portions and we left fat and happy. The lasagna is spectacular as is the mac and cheese. Very impressed with the staff as well, our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly attentive.

This is our favorite Ashland restaurant. We have been coming back for over 15 years. This particular visit was affected by an obvious staffing shortage. The long-time server (who we love) seemed to be serving just about everyone in the restaurant. Two other employees seemed to be under-utilized. Perhaps they were just learning as I only saw them filling water and running credit cards, but compared to other visits, service was much slower.

First the good: my dish was tasty. But, I ordered cavatappi and was served spaghetti noodles. And our entrees took so long to arrive that we had to skip dessert in order to make it to our show on time. Can’t recommend.

Amazing food and service. The upstairs is more suited for date night which is why we moved from the downstairs dining. Food was amazing and we for sure couldn’t eat it all. We will be returning for sure.

The food here was excellent. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The accompanying pasta was a lovely light linguine that was complemented the eggplant dish nicely.

So I don’t normally order expensive food, but it was like $20 for my Mac n cheese from here and it was delicious. BUT there was a hair in it. I called and told them and the lady did not offer me a refund. She offered to remake it and send me more, but I said I’d still eat it, like whatever it’s a hair, and I hate waste. I just feel like I should’ve been refunded or offered a free meal in the future or something. I’m not confrontational, so I didn’t demand that, but I just feel it should have been offered.
