OMG. What are the chances that I run into Ms. Khadijah again? On top of that, I had mistakenly thought my flight was earlier and ran into Raymond but he gave me the low down. He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It’s not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini. In fact, I noticed that when she’s working, she’s always got a full bar. It’s her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar.

2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B.

Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you’ll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time.

The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It’s so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don’t know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She’s incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain.

She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can’t remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules.

If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you’re stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won’t receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! I’ll be returning to BWI next week so I hope I see her again for my insane layover!

We had a delayed flight that was then cancelled. We spent 6 hours with Storm (the bartender). She was great handling several people with the same travel situation. She was attentive, understanding and very friendly. She gave me great drink suggestions. We made a point of visiting her again on our return trip home even though we were in a different terminal. We will be on the lookout for her on any future travel through BWI.

Bartender was not friendly at all.

Took my order twice, managed to still get it wrong. After I corrected him he looked up and demanded my ID.

For context, my wife is a stickler about carrying all of our passports in one place in our suitcases, so I came to this bar without any ID; that’s my fault.

As I’m calling my wife to ask if she could meet me at the bar, the bartender erupts in laughter while subtly pointing at me and yelling to the other customers making sarcastic remarks, rolling his eyes, and shaking his head. As I later walked by, the bartender yells “look, look at him”, still pointing.

I’m 33, fully bald, with a graying beard. There should be no question that this was an honest mistake. If you don’t want to serve me, I can’t argue with you for doing your job. Don’t mock your customers.

Needless to say, I went to a friendlier option and will not be coming back here.

Add me to the five star reviews! This place is very relaxing and its at the entrance of the A gates. You can sit at the bar or a separate table section across from the entrance to the escalators. I’ve passed this place several times on previous visits at this airport. This time, I decided to stop for a drink (as my flight was delayed) and I’m so glad I did.

The service is exceptional as I was lucky to be served by Kay! She has an infectious smile and positive attitude and is at the top of her game, especially when making a perfect martini, filled to the rim. I chose the Baltimore Cosmo and it was exceptional as well as flavorful. I think it was the Luxardo cherry liquor that made this drink amazing.

Based on my initial experience, I will be stopping by here again when I’m flying into the Baltimore area.

Martinis is a great little bar to visit while waiting for your flight. Danielle and Mike are the best!!! Great drinks and great conversations. A must visit if your flight gets delayed. Shame it’s only accessible to people that have cleared airport security. But I will definitely visit every time I am at BWI.

Absolutely lovely. My cocktail was wonderful and the bartender was so dedicated to her craft, including delivering brimming cocktails without spilling a drop. Brava!

I had a layover at the airport today July 15th 2025 at 1pm and decided to grab a drink. I wanted to check this spot out due to the nice location that it was in (not too busy) and it was close to my gate. Upon arriving, I wasn’t greeted by the unenthusiastic bartender until I asked him for a menu. I ordered a dirty martini which is one of my favorite drinks but it was not made well at all. I ended up looking for the bartender to let him know but he had walked away for about 15 minutes to clean. When he got back, I told him that the drink tasted a bit salty and I asked him can I have something else. He told me “No” that I could not and that once I order something then that’s it. I simply said ok but I was very disappointed. I had 3 sips of the drink and left 95% of it there because I did not like it. I wasted $20 on a drink that was terrible. As someone who works for a distributor for an alcohol company, it was very disappointing to say the least. I will never grab a drink from here again. You’ve been warned!!!!

I wish I knew how the drinks were to even give a fair review!!! Unfortunately, the bartender, Michael I think, obviously doesn’t serve African Americans at his bar!! This bartender went out of his way to ignore me sitting as his bar! He literally served people standing up on the side of the bar and STILL didn’t acknowledge me or the African American couple sitting directly in front of him AT THE BAR!!! I do lots of traveling and that’s not cool, he shouldn’t be at your bar and I personally will tell any and everybody i know not to go to this bar as long as Michael is a bartender!!! It’s 2024…I shouldn’t be dealing with this in this day and age, but I am. Worst experience of my trip!

The bartender was awful. He was NOT friendly. Looked like he rolled out of bed. Asked for a few drinks and he was out of everything. I was sitting at bar with my friend and My underage 11 year old daughter walked up behind me to hand me my phone charger and ask me a quick question all while standing in open area not sitting at bar and bartender yelled at me and said she is not allowed to be here. I told him she was handing me a cord and wasn’t staying. He did not care. Never will we go back to that bar. Went down escalator to a different bar/ restaurant and they were amazing and seats all full.
