Taco al pastor & pozole were my favorite. Al pastor was seared which elevated the flavor. El pozole was well seasoned and delicious. They were understaffed but still friendly & hard working. Agua de jamaica was just right. Not too sweet, but still tasted the flower. Salsas are good. Will def come back.

I’ve been here before and the burrito was delicious and filling. I visit again and not the case this time, I paid for a baby burrito and it was filled with mostly lettuce and tomato barely any meat.. I felt cheated and disappointed. The money I spent here was definitely not worth it.

Incredible burrito – oddly named (baby burrito costing 18 dollars and is giant) but the taste was incredible. Red and green sauces in a squeeze bottle to pair with it.

It was empty when I came in, and it took 10 min to get my food which was a little long. But in their defense they had to start up the kitchen again.

Underrated spot – I hope it gets more traction.

One thing I don’t like is when you make a specific request at a restaurant and they still do what they want to do. Today was my first and last time trying this place, I asked for a burrito with cheese, onion and cilantro ONLY spent $20 on this seemingly big burrito only to get it home and see everything I hate inside a burrito was there ie beans. Lettuce, and oddly a few tomatoes, ah ha that’s why so big all the empty crap and barely any meat was there I’m so disappointed I’ll just go to carbon or pancho or travel across the city like my mind said and go to Jaliscos but never again here and then It was mid I see why there’s a bar this gave bar food must be drinking to enjoy

The only reason I have a star and that’s because it wouldn’t let me write a review. There food are premade which it doesn’t say , I asked no options and told me they couldn’t do that. In my mind it was premade. One I got my food it had no taste and lettuce was soggy. . I will never go back. You have to get your food and your drink. Not once they asked if we need anything or how was it. The drinks they made was worst than the food. Super pricey which I don’t mind if it’s worth it! Worst place I came across .

The Big Baby Burrito is enormous — bigger than my arm — and somewhat tasty, packed with fillings enough to satisfy a small army. But what is a giant burrito worth if its legendary presentation is stolen from you? We were denied the fabled, arm-sized box simply because we dared to dine in, forced instead to wrestle with clunky, wasteful styrofoam. No sour cream. Mess everywhere. And for this colossal meal, which surely cost us trillions of dollars in spirit, time, and appetite, the experience felt utterly tragic. A burrito this monumental deserves respect, not neglect

Do you think you could finish a 2 foot, 7 pound burrito?? We tried to finish it at Martinez Bar & Grill in Chicago, Illinois! This spot is known around the US for serving up massive and delicious burritos. Martinez Bar & Grill serves homemade guacamole and chips, tasty tacos, delicious salsas, sides, and more. If you are looking for a Taco Tuesday special in Chicago, Martinez Bar & Grill has a 3 for $10.99 special! There is a full bar inside of the restaurant offering up fun drinks too! While you are there, check out some of the products, drinks, produce, and snacks that are available for purchase. I was in there for a while looking at the packaged Hispanic snacks and foods! If I lived in Chicago, I would visit this spot very frequently. Make sure to check out Martinez Bar & Grill and see if you can finish the 2 foot burrito!

By far the biggest best burritos in the area. I recommend the steak or chorizo. Very clean nice small grocery section. We get burritos here often and usually we cannot finish them.

Martinez Mexican Bar & Grill is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican flavors! I tried the carne asada tacos and they were perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, with fresh toppings that really elevated the dish. The margarita I ordered was well-balanced and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, giving it a fun, festive vibe. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better—definitely coming back!

Awesome 5 star food, combined with 3 star service. Waitress forgot my request for a sliced lime. It took 3 requests to get one. She also never came back to ask if I wanted anything else or even if my meal was ok. I’m being kind to say it was 3 star service, more like 2 stars.
