We went to Martina last night. The food and service were incredible! We got the churros, ricotta bruschetta, mushroom rigatoni, and barramundi. All were phenomenal 9/10! Our server was kind and attentive and paced the meal well. The review lost points due to the atmosphere. We were placed in the front glass area with 5 other 2 tops. Our table felt uncomfortably close to the one to the left of us & all the tables felt like they were packed like sardines. We could hear everything the table next to us was saying without trying to listen. Our table also felt very small with barely any extra room. Overall great experience but a little more space and privacy would have been appreciated.

I’ll add to the pile of 5 star reviews… It’s a MUST-EAT BRUNCH!

The staff is top tier. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable.

The food is exquisite. Bold flavors and well-executed.

The potato churros are so addictive, we ordered a second batch. Other favorites included the Gorgonzola leek empanadas, jalapeño burger (it was spicier than we were expecting, but it burned so good), the French toast, the eggs Benedict, and chorizo toast.

Personally, we didn’t love the fan-favorite donut. Just thought it was a little dry. Go for the French toast instead for something sweet!

This restaurant is too overrated, it costs double of the price for a below average quality and experience comparing to similar restaurants in major cities like NYC or LA. Went for my birthday at this place on a Friday night and left with disappointment. We ordered 4 dishes – Mussel, Potato Churros, Barramundi, and Octopus. All the dishes came out way too salty. It felt like the salt level was doubled. None of the dishes tasted good… We had to drink lots of water to keep eating. The server also did not seem very friendly – I can tell he put on fake smiles and didn’t really care to bring us a good experience. The table we were seated was very small and he brought all our dishes at once which the table could not fit. It’s very overwhelming. Yes I said it doesn’t matter which dish comes first, but an experienced server would know what would be the best for the customer. The environment of this restaurant was way too dark – we can’t even read the menu – our eyes hurt. This restaurant also changed the menu – some of the dishes we hoped to try (from others’ review online) were not in the Jan 2026 menu we were presented. We drove 40mins in snow to come dinning here – totally not worth it. Spent $160+ for two people. Worst birthday dinner ever. Will not come back again.

My wife and I decided to give this place a try for our anniversary, and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, our server, Hale, made the evening feel special by treating us to a celebratory beverage.
Everything we ordered, and everything Hale recommended, was superb, from the empanadas to the pastas and the coconut ice cream. This place is truly amazing and memorable.
We will definitely be back.

A Minneapolis Essential – 10/10

If you only have one dinner in Minneapolis, make it Martina. This Argentinian powerhouse is easily one of the best dining experiences in the city.
The Standouts:
* Mushroom Rigatoni: Hands down, some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. It’s earthy, rich, and a total must-order.
* The Apps: Do not leave without trying the Potato Churros (trust me on this) and the Empanadas. They set the bar incredibly high for the rest of the meal.
* other Pasta: While the mushroom rigatoni is the star, their various seafood pastas (lobster or shrimp spaghetti is a highlight) as well as the sausage orecchiette are equally refined and fresh.

The vibe is chic, the cocktails are top-tier, and the food is flawless. It’s a 10/10 every single time. Absolute must-visit!

I came here to celebrate something special all the time. Their food is absolutely amazing – the gnocchi is the best in Minnesota. The service has always been excellent. The only thing is as that they have so many customers all the time so it could be a little loud, and it’s hard to find parking.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s always a lovely dining experience.
I came here with my mother for a birthday dinner celebration. We had the perfect amount of privacy that it didn’t feel awkward to talk but also the energy in the restaurant make it comfortable to talk.
Our server was very polite and did not rush us for ordering anything.
He brought us a couple fun drinks for the birthday celebration which doesn’t cost much but the gesture creating a lasting impression. Then I had a classic margarita and my mother a wine both very good.
The food was fantastic. We tried the bruschetta, my mom had the olive which was so warm and hit the notes of a classic bruschetta. I did the avocado salmon which was creamy and savory.
We split the pork chop and that was the perfect amount of food for the both of us. It was perfectly cooked and an incredible sauce on top.
For dessert, we had the black velvet cake… let me tell you. This is the BEST cake I’ve ever had. Moist, and light but also creamy. Highly recommend it. The berry sorbet was very refrrshing after but tart.

Will be back, hopefully sooner than later!

On the way to Martina’s, my mom called and told me she and my dad didn’t enjoy it, so I walked in with pretty low expectations. But honestly? It blew past even those lowered expectations. I don’t know if they caught it on a bad night, because our dinner was unreal.

We started with oysters (oysters are oysters, always solid), and then we tried the potato churros and wow. I did not expect that at all. They were basically the best version of a french fry I’ve ever had in my life.

Next up was the beef tongue bruschetta, and that one really surprised me too. I love beef tongue and think it’s one of the most underrated cuts, but I’d never had it presented like that. It was genuinely delicious and had a mix of flavors I’ve never had before.

But the all star MVP of the night was the cacio e pepe ravioli (pictured attached is a half serving). I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best pastas I’ve had in my life. It’s very hard to find pasta in Minnesota that really impresses you like that, but this one did. The parmesan quality was obvious, rich, sharp, and just perfect with the pepper. Best cacio e pepe style pasta I’ve ever had, hands down.

On top of all that, Nathan took care of us and made the whole experience even better. Great service, super attentive, and the food runners were genuinely kind too. Overall, an awesome night and a meal I’m still thinking about.

I came here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. The overall atmosphere was very lively and perfect for a date night. Even though I made reservations, I still had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table due to how busy it was. The waiter assisting was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the potato churros, empanadas, stuffed chicken breast, and the orecchiette. The wait was slightly longer than anticipated. Once the appetiser arrived, they were absolutely phenomenal. I loved the potato churro and the empanadas. The main course was equally as delicious. I would definitely return for their brunch. I overall had a really great experience.

This restaurant is fantastic. 10/10 the service was amazing. Shoutout to Brandon, he went above and beyond for my friends birthday dinner. The food is WELL seasoned and absolutely delicious. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to as far as service, food, and atmosphere. Thank you for a great experience.
