Food is frankly mid all around. The shrimp *looks* appetizing, but it tastes like 3 day old fish. Tampiquena meat was…off. You know something is off when my wife leaves half her plate as take home.

Chips and warm salsa were fantastic. And I rather enjoyed the cheese enchilada on my plate.

Service was wonderful. Timely. Attentive. Maybe I should have heeded their suggestion and gotten the fajitas for two…

Martha’s Restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the experience overall was just okay. The service was average, nothing special. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — the beef fajita nachos lacked flavor, and the tortillas were greasy and soggy. I was expecting more based on the ambiance.

The food just gets better n better. Great food with a great location. Servers are so attentive and polite. Prices are great. The servings were bigger tonight. The chicken enchiladas were excellent and meaty. Had 2 over easy eggs on them, just delicious! Taco salad was so huge. Nachos were good as well. Chalupas are so refreshing! You must try them.

The queso was delicious but on the salty side. The chips were good and the salsa was on point! I had read the reviews for this establishment on the way there and one person said that he appreciated the fact that it was not loud. I totally concur with him. There was music but it was at a modest level (it was lunchtime). Service was great and we will definitely be returning.

In town for the kid’s twirling competition and needed a dinner spot for the kids and parents to eat afterwards. This place had pretty good reviews, looked very clean from the pics, and had Mole Enchiladas (which I love!), so we gave it a shot. So in regards to the categories above:

Food: The food was delicious! I got Mole Enchiladas, which not a lot of places seem to do any more. The mole had a great flavor and consistency, which made for good chicken enchiladas. Rice and beans on the side were both done well, and the beans weren’t soupy like some places seem to do. My wife got beef/chicken fajitas. Portion size was good, meat was nice and tender, and it appeared to be good quality meat (not fatty or anything like that).

Also, drinks were good. I asked the waitress what margarita she recommended and went with that. It wasn’t huge like I expected based on the menu description, but they made up for it by making it plenty strong. I definitely felt I got my money’s worth (not sure I felt much else by the time I hit the bottom )! A couple of the kids got virgin daiquiris, and one parent got a full octane one, all three were quite happy!

Service: The service was great from start to finish, they were friendly and very attentive. Drinks were always topped off, chip basket refilled, drinks brought out quickly, no complaints.

Atmosphere: The restaurant was very very clean, both in the dining area and the waiting area. I also really appreciated that it wasn’t loud! They had some music going, and football or something on the TVs, but neither was really loud. It was nice being able to actually hear what my friends were saying with ease, rather than trying to hear and talk over the noise. Volume levels were just right.

A nice couple in the waiting area said they’d been coming into town to eat here for years, and I can see why. I have zero complaints about this place. If/when we’re ever back in Tomball, we will definitely eat here.

This was my first time here. It was recommended by a friend who goes often.
The warm salsa was very good.

I ordered the pick 2 plate. I chose cheese enchilada and a beef fajita. It came with rice and beans. I chose the Charro beans. (Omg delicious). It also came with pico de Gallo and a small amount of avocado.

I really enjoyed it.
I ended up taking the fajita taco home and had it for dinner. It was delicious and I couldn’t get over how much beef was given.

I’m sorry I do not remember the servers name. He was very attentive.

Give it a try.
Sorry I didn’t take any pictures.

Never too crowded. Great margaritas. Great food. Best Fajitas. Service is always fantastic.
Worst ice water and iced tea, so hit the Bar. Keep the chips and sauce flowing. Not a huge parking lot, but it is paved. If you have a big party planned they have a banquet room.

Amazing people! Amazing food! Our TOPS Club (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) had our Christmas party there. They were so attentive to all our needs and keep our tea glasses full. Great job, Martha’s!

Even for a full restaurant, our wait time was approximately 10 mins.
They are always onto of refills of chips and drinks while you wait for your order.
The family had a great experience, and will definitely return again.

Dinner and margaritas at Martha’s Mexican Restaurant and Grill tonight. I couldn’t decide between my two favorites, Shrimp Brochettes or the monday special (cheese enchiladas with beef fajitas on top). We decided to get both and my wife and I split. The shrimp brochettes here are a thing of beauty and perfection. I don’t know what Chef Wilmer seasons and grills these in, but whatever it is, it is addicting.

The cheese enchiladas are served pipping hot, and topped with beef fajitas makes it phenomenal. Served with very flavorful charro beans or refried, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, w/ tortillas on request. Who can resist homemade flour tortillas.

I also got my go to jumbo 1/2 Frozen 1/2 not house margarita, folowed by a small frozen mango margarita. My wife got a Paloma and Michelada. Great margaritas and cocktails here.

Dessert was the new Cheesecake Chimichanga, which is outstanding! Crispy deep fried cinnamon sugar shell with delicious cheescake filling. We have had a version of this at quite a few places, but what is different about Martha’s version, the filling is still cold and a has a fantastic texture. (many other restaurants serve you a hot gooey mess). Martha’s is the most perfect cheescake Chimichanga we have found, I don’t think it is officially on the menu but you can ask for it.

What a great friday night! #supportlocal
