This was a really nice experience after getting off the beach. Sitting outside on the porch gave us a really beautiful view of the marsh. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the Brunswick stew, seafood platter, and shrimp platter. The stew was the best Brunswick stew I’ve had and the scallops off the platter were cooked perfectly. Overall the atmosphere, service and food made this a really enjoyable experience 😀

The Marshside Grill’s broiled oysters and steamed/fried shrimp are usually delicious. I love the way their broiled oysters are served, and they’re so clean and tasty. I also had fried okra and sweet potato fries, and they were good, too, but I especially enjoyed their hush puppies. I love this restaurant! Great food, menu, and service.

Great find pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Didn’t look like much from the outside. We had to wait about 20 minutes as we got there around 1 o’clock. Apparently it gets very busy at noon. We had been in a car for about two hours, so we didn’t mind standing around waiting… there are some benches to wait on which is nice but if you have been in the car for any distance of time, it feels good to stand up we opted to sit at the first available, which put us on the inside, there are outside eating areas by the River, but we would’ve had to wait a longer time for one of those tables. They didn’t have a lot of outside seating, but during different times of the year, they probably would be very nice to sit there. The reason I gave this five stars was because of the food. The atmosphere was OK very dark and felt like a Jolly Rogers. But the food was stupendous. I ordered a shrimp tacos and they came on good sized tortillas. On the bottom of the taco was a coleslaw mixture that had horseradish in it, and the shrimp was fried, and there were so many shrimp. I had to eat a few off just to take a bite of the taco ha ha. That is not a complaint that is a compliment, lol. The combination of the coleslaw flavor and the shrimp flavor, and the batter was so good! I ordered the spuds and they were these thick slices of fried potatoes. That were very good although a little bit greasy for my taste. My husband ordered the seafood platter and he got fish and shrimp and the spuds. There was a lot of food. It was very good and the prices were good, our waitress was very cute and attentive.

Nice atmosphere, good service. The food was ok, nothing special really. The Fried Shrimp & Scallops were fried nicely, however the Chicken Fingers were a bit dry. The salad was fresh and crisp, even though they ran out of tomatoes.

Great dinner! Service was quick, portions were large and flavorful. We started with the fried mushrooms which were tempura or beer battered, not sure. Very hot, tasted great and ample portion. Enough for a group of four. I had a fried oyster po boy and a side salad. The sandwich was excellent with a generous amount of oysters, excellent roll and dressed with tomato and lettuce. Side salad was again generous with a tasty horseradish dressing. My son had the Full Moon platter with fries and cheese grits for sides. Everything was hot, the breading a perfect complement to the seafood. A great dinner! High on value for dollar. Our waitress Isabella was personable and efficient. Highly recommended.

We were traveling down the East Coast on our trip and was so happy to stop and have dinner at Marsh side Grille! The food was delicious and we had the best waitress ever named Becca! We can’t wait to stop by and eat again the next time we are traveling. I had steamed shrimp and sides and it was delicious. My husband had steak and crab legs and and sides and he said they were delicious too. We did have some drinks too. The margaritas were yummy!
