Ok hold up – Let me tell you, this is the BEST food we have had in so long. It was worth every penny we spent tonight and the prices are so fair. The service was wonderful. Tashell and Marcus were extremely personable and had the best type of vibe. If you are looking for good food for the soul, this is the place. My husband got the Henny Sriracha Wings (which are breaded and delicious). I got the jerk chicken bowl that came with mashed, cornbread, mac and cheese and cabbage. Every last bit of our meal was so good and we had so much to take home. They do dine in and take out – please try them out if you haven’t. We already can’t wait to try everything else on the menu. Not to mention I love the husband and wife team. Not sure at all how anyone couldn’t give this place a full 5 stars.

Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The oxtale was out of this world. Service was amazing. Creative sauces for the wings at an awesome price. Owner was super great. Also a great spot for take out.

Our first time here was an amazing experience. The esethic was warm and welcoming, felt like we were welcomed from the minute we entered. The hospitality was just as welcoming and the food was to die for. The serving size was enough to take home for another meal. I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying this experience. We will definitely be back again.

Outside of the building made us a little skeptical, but when you get inside it’s a whole different world. Furnishings were great. Place was really clean. Staff very friendly. Started with a half dozen full wings, flavor was great. Both our dinners were great. Sides were excellent. Can’t wait to try other things they make. If you are looking for a great place to eat on the south side, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed

First time here, I had to check it out cause of all the hype. The place is a little hard to find in the dark and from the outside is very unassuming. A real hole in the wall vibe. Inside is very nice, clean, and has a great atmosphere. I love the decorations and vibe of this spot. We came on a Friday night so it was quite busy so food was a little slow to come out of the kitchen but it was worth the wait. The menu here changes somewhat week to week, which they post on their FB page in advance. I got the oxtail birria tacos, and my dad got the cheeseburger and fries. The birria tacos were different from birria I’ve had in NYC but the oxtail was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. The tacos were very flavorful. The burger was cooked medium, very juicy, my dad described it as having a kind of smokey flavor he’s never had before. Said it was delicious. The staff were really nice and the restaurant was very clean. I will definitely come back here! I’m interested in trying many other things they offer here
