Flavors were just ok, the burrito was filled with rice very little meat, the green chile didn’t have much flavor, the red had good flavor, better seasoned.
Over all it was just OK

Excellent bar/restaurant! The food: Superb. Service: Outstanding. Ambiance: Beautiful. Huge space in the bar with games room in the back. Self-serve chips if you’re feeling like a snack with your expertly prepared cocktail. Every corner of the place has a different feel. Come in mid-day in the week for a chill environment, or on a Friday night for a live band and full excitement!

Smell in bar area was heavy with antiseptic, which is not appetizing at all, yet the place still feels and smells unclean. Not a great bar experience, I am local and tip over 20%, yet Territorial bartenders here seem jealous of women who may look pretty. They didnt know how to make a Ranch water, which is a standard at a mexican bar, and charged me $21 for it! Fortunately, I had hope, because the food is usually tasty here, however the thought crossed my mind that my food may be comprimised if
…”said bartenders” fetch the fare. Catch my drift?
If you are male, you will have a perfect time here! Pretty Women beware of bitchy management bar staff!

Lights too bright in the bar, bar was understaffed resulting in poor service, even though the bartender was moving nonstop, no one was helping her. The music nice, but really really loud for the space. the 2 $5 Friday margaritas we had cost $24….
What the heck!! The website advertized one price, but when you, go it’s way different!

Love sitting at the fireplace. Staff have been awesome every time I’ve been there. The food is great, I only give a 4 star because the rice has always been very bland. I’m very surprised by that. They do live music and trivia nights. A group of us showed up there once at the last minute and they handled us very well, too. Don’t forget the serve yourself chips and salsa station. They also have a little phone charging rental station by the chips. If you want to play pool and darts, those are available in the back. Great place, all around.

This place needs some good cleaning, the fact that this chandelier is right in front of the AC makes it kinda concerning, imagine all that dust flying over your food.
That’s a health hazard

Bring cash if you can, there is an upcharge for card use now.
I’ve been going here since I was a kid. The food comes out fresh & HOT and it is predictably good. Some of the prices are silly expensive, especially since they cut back on the rice and beans serving size.
Vegan options are absolutely awesome here.
Love their house margaritas! Chips are fresh and they keep them in supply if you ask them to.
**UPDATE
If you go to the 21+ Catina side, during popular hours– it might be a bit of a wait between ordering drinks. They only take orders at the bar, line can get a bit backed up at times. The staff is overworked on weekends. It is completely unfair to them.

the bartender charged and served us “double” or “gold” margaritas during happy hour when we asked for a house margarita – technically what the other el sarape locations also referred to as. it is actually against WA State MAST laws to sell a drink that wasn’t asked for, as i have a permit as well. the bartender (YT, by the way) just straight up walked away when i tried to ask about the price. sucks when it’s a mex-restaurant and i would like to support our latin communities but this was just awful and condescending to say the least. i ordered happy hour food when i actually could have had just a full meal for the same price. called twice and didn’t hear back, unfortunately could not stand to return to this place after this experience. sad.

Nothing authentic here, the food was good, the service was even better. We had the chicken fajitas, and a dinner combo plate with enchiladas and a taco. The rice was The chips were blah.

Que increíble! I had no idea going in that they had an entire vegan menu. And not just a vegan menu, but the best vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had. Who’d have thought that in Shelton of all places? Excellent drinks selection as well. I will absolutely be back here next time I’m in Shelton. Incredibly kind and friendly staff. Attached is a picture of the vegan street tacos I got with the soy steak strips. If you are vegan or vegetarian in Shelton looking for food, this is the place.
