I love Marrone’s pizza its so good I’ve been living in this area for 7 years now and its the 2nd best local pizza dish, I also had there cheesesteaks and it was so good along side there Italian sub, I hate how many places near west grove are so good with there foods because its so hard to pick which place to get it from.

I’ve lived here for 11 years and only went here once in the first few months. Apparently I wasn’t impressed. Went back last week for a special hoagie and it was fantastic! Ordered again tonight for a pizza ($7!), salad, and curly fries. Also fantastic. Don’t sleep on this place!

This is the first time I ever ate here. I don’t mind eating a wawa sub when I’m in survival mode, and nor do ppl mind wawa who have pedestrian taste buds, but this Italian hoagie was just right for a food snob like myself. The thing that I loved was a kid cut the deli meat for it, then it was like the older guy (THE HOAGIE GODFATHER) finished assembling it. The reviews this sandwich shop gets speaks for themselves. Unless you don’t like quality food or you don’t want to be hooked on a real hoagie, I strongly suggest trying this place out

Update to my previous review: Ordered from the deli for a Christmas party I was hosting. Placed the order in advance for rolls cheese and roast beef in gravy. The rolls were hard and the meat was very bland. I won’t be ordering the roast beef again sadly.

Different Cheesesteak #874. Special Guest Eater Mike Fueda. 2nd spot and this was one to remember. Cheesesteaks are about the meat and complimenting components. Marrone’s uses Levan Meat and what a difference good meat makes. Fresh Collegeville Bakery roll and homemade sauce. This was a treat. Great small town deli. PS Stock’s pound cake.

Hugo is one of the nicest and generous restaurant owners I’ve ever met. The food was so good! Get a cheese steak – you won’t regret it! There are a few tables inside to eat, so this is more of a to-go spot, but now that I’ve tried the food here, this will be my go-to!

Service was poor but food was good. We walked in in the early afternoon and everyone we saw was on their phone. We ordered our food to go and we sat at a table while waiting. 2 tables were dirty, no one had cleaned the crumbs off. As soon as the guy took our order, he sat down again and was on his phone, with a noisy video playing. But our sandwiches were good.

I go down this way once a month. I’ve gotten hoagies there twice. Never a disappointment. Hoagie (special Italian) is packed with meat and delicious. Potato salad was good and had a piece of chocolate cake. Both good. I’ll be stopping there every month for now on. And the guy who answers the phone and takes care of the register is really nice.
