Reasonably priced. Nothing complex. Just a simple place to get a meal and a beer. We had fish and its was good. I really enjoyed a true “basket” of fries, and they were hot when they were served. My concerns though started with from the time we received the menus until the time a waitress came to take our order was 10 minutes. Food then came in 10 to 12 minutes, which is fine. How does a restaurant run out of Ranch salad dressing, when side salads are common for the dishes on the menu? It is not a secret that Ranch dressing is the #1 salad dressing in the USA, and none was available the evening of a holiday (3rd of July). It was hot outside (85 degrees) and unfortunately their air conditioning was not maintaining a cool temp indoors, and we were not sitting in the vicinity of the kitchen. What is up with the flies? It was hard to enjoy my meal while flies lurk about. Before I forget, I did enjoy the homemade tartar sauce.

What a great little river town restaurant and cafe. The blueberry pancakes are insane. They are huge with big plump berries. One pancake is plenty for anybody. Pretty good sized menu. The service and the food are always good. Very reasonably priced.

Great little restaurant which is been in Marquette as long as I can remember. Great biscuits and gravy huge helping can barely eat it but still get it. Good coffee. Also have a huge hamburger and other homemade items.

Just had an absolutely wonderful breakfast at this quaint little place. This is one of the few small establishments left and they really know how to make you feel at home. The service was absolutely wonderful, while I never got the lady’s name, the server always had a smile on her face. The food there was some of the best I’ve ever had, even from the bigger chains like Huddle House and IHOP. If you are ever in Marquette, Iowa, whether your just driving through or staying for a day or two, be sure to give this place a shot. You won’t regret it.

Great food at a great price. Great menu choices for lunch and usually a lunch special running. The breakfasts are excellent. Don’t miss an opportunity to get filled up with a good meal at a good price if you are traveling through the area. I don’t drink but they have a fully stocked bar with a great atmosphere if you find yourself a little parched and looking for a place to sit back and relax. Take care.
