Met my sister and brother-in-law for dinner. The live piano playing created a warm atmosphere right away. The server was very helpful and great. The food was amazing. The owner/ chef came out and accompanied the piano player with his guitar.
This evening was truly a great experience. Will definitely return again.

We were looking for a cozy, intimate atmosphere with great food for our wedding, so we knew we had to go with Marquee. We’ve always loved coming here for dinner, and having a special event like this here was an even greater experience.

Diana was great to work with for the planning process, answering any and all questions we had along the way to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Though you can’t plan for the weather, we’re incredibly grateful for the last-minute quick communication and adjustments to work around a rainy day. The changes were done so flawlessly you’d have thought it was planned that way from the start.

Chef Serdjo along with the entire kitchen and serving teams executed the entire day to absolute perfection. The food and drinks were incredible and we’ve heard nothing but the highest praise from all of our guests, with many expressing wishes to return again.

Thank you so much to the team at Marquee for hosting one of the greatest days of our lives. We look forward to coming back for many years to come.

Overall experience was disappointing. From the time we sat down and ordered our food, it almost took an hour for us to get our salad. Waiter didn’t bother how I’d like my steak which is odd considering it’s a steak house. When I rsvpd online, I mentioned I’m celebrating my 40th birthday but no one even bothered to wish me happy birthday. Why even ask if I’m celebrating a special occasion on the RSVP?

Food was good, atmosphere was great, prices are ok although waiter told me I’m getting an 11oz steak but was charged for an 11.5 oz

My husband and I celebrated my birthday here on Friday night and the service from server Gary was great. He was welcoming, professional, poised, and had fantastic recommendations. Everything from the food to the service and the atmosphere was impeccable. The Brie shareable platter is next level and the beef tenderloin was mouth watering. I did find the menu prices to be a bit steep considering their portion sizes (hence my 4-star rating). Other than that I would highly recommend !

Went for Valentines dinner so glad we did. Loved everything about this steak house. Food was fresh, cooked perfectly. Anthony our server was attentive and has a great attitude. Sat in front of open kitchen to witness a line up of chefs that effortlessly created beautiful dishes . If you are thinking of going out for a special diner this is the place! Enjoyed it so much forgot to take pictures

An outstanding experience. What a lovely evening! The atmosphere is a unique meld of quiet neighbourhood camaraderie with a friendly yet dignified tone, all presented through the warmth of a helpful and knowledgeable staff, all of whom come across as grateful hosts.

The oysters were presented with perfect condiments of a hot sauce, a very nicely balanced horseradish preparation and a lovely vinegar based touch. I decided on the feature dish, which was a superbly prepared surf n’ turf. This beautiful dish was a sight that immediately evoked a feeling of self-congratulation on realizing what I had “signed up for”. One of the largest lobster tails I have ever seen was beautifully presented with the core of the lobster’s exoskeleton, and immediately competed with the beautifully seared medallions of beef which were perfectly done. Incredibly flavourful, tender and the perfect complement to the lobster tail. The lobster was not just a sight to behold, it was plentiful in size, and had the beautifully distinct, rich, regal flavour and texture that only comes from something that is perfectly prepared. The gnocchi that was the third element was warm, al dente with a luscious cream sauce that was a delightfully heart-warming comfort food component. All perfectly balanced and a trio of triumph. The desert was an apple and spice cake topped with a delightfully delicate and scrumptious cookie that was the perfect topping, especially when the chocolate sauce revealed its true spirit! The wine was perfect, a lovely Cabernet from the Mendoza region of Argentina.

The crowning touch to the evening was the dreamy music and singing provided by the extraordinarily talented and renowned Laura Fernandez. She was awarded the rare accolade of Steinway Pianist in Canada, for her ability to bring her artistry in song-writing and compassion to life. Her beautiful style on the piano, and her incomparable warmth and superb talent conspired with the fabulous offerings of Marquee to make the evening one to treasure. People stayed long after their beautiful dinner was finished, just to enjoy her beautiful presence. Congratulations to Marquee and Laura for a thoroughly enchanting evening!

Great food, drinks, and service!! Kenton was our server and he was so kind and very attentive to us. Would recommend coming on a Thursday as it is very quiet and we basically had the place to ourselves most of the
time! Steak was amazing and definitely worth the price! 10/10

The restaurant is decent overall, but the experience doesn’t match the pricing. The steaks are overpriced considering their average quality, though portion sizes are fair.

Service was disappointing: minimal effort in asking for preferences or offering recommendations. Interestingly, once a larger group arrived, the server’s attitude completely changed, becoming much more engaging and attentive.

The “piano lounge” feels more like a name than a real feature, only a couple of songs were played, and no one seemed particularly interested. Overall, it doesn’t deliver on its luxury image, either in service or atmosphere.

A very expensive evening $450 for 2 for valentine’s day and that included only 2 cocktails. No wine. There was a set menu with minimal choice – when we booked we were told this was not an option as they were fully booked for those and we were ok with that as we wanted food off the main menu. When we arrived, we had to use the valentine’s menu. Our other choice was lose our $50 deposit. The food was honestly underwhelming for me. Dessert was nice, but the steak i picked was a cm thinner than my husband’s striploin. It was also tough and lacked flavour, as did the scalloped potatoes which were almost sweet and I couldn’t eat. Sea scallops were served with an overly chewy piece of pork. I think the attempt was crispy pork skin which is nice, however the execution was overcooked tough pork, with chewy skin, not crispy. Nice atmosphere- beautiful pianist and singer. Food did not match up to the hype, nor price and at that cost for Milton, I was disappointed.

I know the name says Steakhouse but the seafood should share equal billing. The octopus is top tier (I would revisit for this dish alone), and if you’re lucky enough, ask if they have whole fish available.

Braised beef cheek was a deep and flavourful experience. We should have asked for a loaf of sourdough to clean the rest of the plate.

Service was informative, attentive but never obtrusive; reminded me of better European restaurants where servers would only appear exactly when you needed them.

Thank you.
