Stopped in at Marquee Pizzeria during state wrestling duals weekend, so all the restaurants were busy. Ordered the Schools Out pizza and was blown away. Crust was fresh and soft yet crisp, the garlic cream base and smoked fresh mozzarella were very flavorful and the toppings were plentiful and the drizzled hot honey to finish it off was excellent. This pizza was unlike any that I have had in the past, and would 100% order it again. There are others on the menu that i would like to try as well. I sat at the bar due to it being the quickest way to get a seat and the service was excellent. Pizza came out quick and dining experience was great

Came to this restaurant later in evening on a football weekend to finally try their pizza. No reservations but bar area was available. We only had 1 hour so food had to be ordered quick. Unfortunately our pepperoni pizza was undercooked which was surprising with this being cooked in a pizza oven…it should be crispy. Overall, pizza was “good”.

Fantastic food, especially the straciatella. We also love the wood fired pizza. Great for lunch or dinner. Service can be a little slow, depending on the time of day you stop in or what you order.

Unfortunately poor situation here. I showed up twenty minutes before close looking to order one pizza TO GO (ideally, this should have me out before close.) The host was hesitant, so I asked if it’s too late. She could have said yes and I would have left, but she said “it’s fine but you’ll have to order really fast.” The bartender then told me he wasn’t sure if it was too late for me to order. He asked the kitchen and said it was ok and asked “what did you want”. I had no water or menu and asked to see a menu. He wordlessly gave me one. At this point, I felt unwelcome. I told the bartender I felt like they were clearly trying to close so I’m going to find food elsewhere. Instead of being met with an apology or reassurance that I was okay to order, he said “ok!”
As a restaurant employee, I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant. I’d understand if I showed up 5 minutes before close, but it was 20 minutes — enough time to cook a pizza and send me on my way.

I have to say! This place is absolutely heavenly. I highly recommend it. They have an amazing selection of drinks and a beautiful menu it doesn’t matter what you pick. It’s gonna blow your mind.
The manager and staff are lovely, kind people. I have no complaints about this establishment.
Marquee Pizzeria + Bar set the bar really high for everyone around them. Super happy I found this place.

The food was amazing the drinks were great I really enjoyed the strawberry lemonade! The service is the only thing holding me back from a 5 star review! We walked in and there were people looking at us but nobody came to seat us then once we were sat it took probably 10 minutes for our server to come over and another 6-7 to get our drinks (not from the bar) other than the wait everything was amazing but make sure you have some time before trying!

We were invited to a private event at this restaurant. Everything about this place was five star. The food, ambiance, and crafted cocktails were amazing. Definitely worth the visit.

Marquee is one of our favorite places to grab pizza in the area!

First of all the dough is incredible and perfectly chewy. The sauces and toppings are high quality and comprise of well-thought out combinations. Everything I’ve tasted here has been delicious.

I’m a huge fan of wood fired pizza, and although some reviews might complain that it’s too thin, it HAS to be thin and have light enough toppings to be able to maneuver around the fire.

Lately, we do take out because we have little kids and it’s easy to grab on my way home from work so I don’t have accurate comments about the service. It seems like the online ordering function is disabled but you can still call a pizza in and they have it ready in 15-30 minutes.

Parking in the area has become more difficult because there are more businesses and events at the arena but you can usually find something within a short walk.

We went here for a late lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. The service was great and everything we ordered was really good! We each got a half salad, shared the stracciatella, and a pizza! I love the pizza dough and interesting toppings, we got the school’s out pizza. Hope to come back soon!

A pretty good place, just beware – there’s a service fee of 3% here (note at the bottom).

I went there over lunch today, and ordered a vegetarian pizza and bread sticks. The total cost was ~$30 for the food.

The pizza was pretty good, a bit burnt, but overall still quite good. It resembles a small pizza, although the toppings were pretty minimal. I went with some Mozzarella cheese on top (About $2 extra). The toppings were pretty minimal, even the veggies just felt like there wasn’t much on it. The $2 in cheese only had a few bits on it. Hy-Vee pizza provides far more toppings at a better value.

The breadsticks were about $7, but were quite good. There were 2 large breadsticks with sea salt on top with balsamic vinegar. The bread was doughy and quite good. $7 still feels quite high, but overall the best thing on the menu so far.

One big reason for the downgrade in ranking, and why personally I won’t be going back is the service fee. I absolutely despise service fees. A tax, that isn’t a tip, that artificially reduces the prices – which in my opinion are already far too high. It’s deceptive, and honestly absolutely wrong. As a blanket rule, if I encounter a place that does this, I will _never_ go there again, and also ensure I speak widely about it. NO place should be doing this. Raise the prices by 3% if you need to, stop artificially lowering the price and adding the fee at the end. It’s absurd, abusive to the customer, and seriously needs to stop. I’d consider going here again if this fee wasn’t there.
