Super friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced and portioned considering they’re in Philipsburg right at the beach. I had the Caribbean salad with chicken and a banana daiquiri, along with bites from my friends’ plates of the calamari which were all delicious. Wish I had found this place earlier in my trip but I’m glad I did find it. Super friendly staff and they let me pet the dog who looked like it was living its best rescued life.

We found Marley’s on our first full day on the island. The guys settled in to watch football, drink $15 buckets of 6 beer and delicious food. The girls went back and forth between the beach and the bar. We ended up going back 3 more times during our week stay.
We had cheese, beef and curry empanadas, Caesar salad, jerk quesadilla, fried cauliflower, Caesar salad with shrimp, tres mahi-mahi tacos, cheeseburger with bacon jam, chicken wings, and buckets of beer over our 4 visits. We didn’t have anything that wasn’t delicious.
It’s an open air bar on the boardwalk. The beach is right across the sidewalk. The bar is nicely decorated. The food and drink prices were very reasonable.
The owners or managers Denny & Ruthie were so friendly and pleasant. Noah was a great server. Chef Michelle did an incredible job with all the food. She was also a sweetheart!
We sure hope they are still there when we return to St Maarten. Thanks for contributing to our wonderful week on the island!

Popped in for lunch and made some friends. The food was great. The drinks were great. But the site of Ruthy wading into the water to deliver our drinks as we floated was incredible. Such wonderful people. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch while visiting St. Maarten, and what should have been a one hour visit turned into an all day event. The food we had for lunch was amazing, and DJ and Ruthie treated us like family. We ended up staying through dinner and convinced other people walking by to come in. Going to Marley’s was one of the best parts of our trip. We had to stop in one more time before we left to eat one more meal and say a proper goodbye. If you go to St. Maarten, I would recommend going to Marley’s over anywhere else. You won’t regret it!

Our first time to St. Maarten and it did NOT disappoint. We were on a cruise and when we stopped on the Island- Great Bay Beach- we were bombarded by the locals, wanting us to purchase their chairs on the beach. It was overwhelming having two dozen people yell at you for your attention.
Fortunately, we were very calmly and politely approached by Max… a super nice guy who works at Marley’s Sports Bar and Grill… owned by Ruthie, a simply wonderful lady!! She personally took care of us all afternoon and saw to our every need. She offered free Wi-Fi and a restroom to use should we need it. Two very comfortable chairs with umbrella were $20 for my husband and I. Food was reasonably priced and she just couldn’t have been kinder!
So do yourself a favor, and if you find yourself on St. Maarten’s Great Bay Beach… stop by and see Ruthie at Marley‘s sports bar and Grill. You won’t regret it!

Came to the area on a cruise. Told my teenage daughter to find any spot she liked for lunch. I’m so elated she picked this one. First of all… Waitress was barefoot… That alone to me says the vibes are gonna be amazing here. And yes they were!!! Everything we ordered was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Owners were so friendly. Best part was that in exchange for making a very meager donation to the local dog rescue, they gave us a plaque to write whatever we wanted on, then the owner nailed it to the wall right in front of us. My kids and I will have this memory forever. Can’t wait to go back and see our plaque! Also want to mention how extremely fair the prices were, altho for food that good I would’ve been happy to pay more!
