Some great jerk chicken and Caribbean food
here for adorable price. It’s inside a gas station and has seating for you to eat after you order. Great mom and pop shop

The jerk chicken and cabbage were really good!! I wish the plantain was a bit softer, but overall the flavor was exactly what I was craving!

I’ve only had them from their food truck when they are in the Goula. While the brown stew chicken was ok, the curry goat is fire. Loads of spice and flavor and a nice amount of heat. Big chunks of tender meat, and all that flavor soaking into and mixing with the rice and peas and cabbage. These trays are heavy too. I’ll have to remember to get some patties next time although I didn’t see coco bread on the menu.

This was a surprise, hole-in-the-wall, serendipitous encounter which I loved. For the food, tastes excellent, portions well served! The atmosphere is not much because it’s housed inside a gas station so there are only a few tables with chairs. But those who know good food, flock in at lunch time because those portions are WELL SERVED!

Great food but the price has gotten unreasonable compared to other Caribbean food in the area. I ordered a regular and large portion of stewed chicken and I only received a half a piece of chicken more on the large plate than the regular, yet I paid a $5 different. They gave me 2 small thighs pieces and 2 legs on the regular plate. And i got 3 half thighs and 2 legs on the large lol. That’s ridiculous for $5/extra. The food is delicious but it’s not worth the price anymore.

This place is in a petrol station so that might make you believe that you should keep going. Well let me tell you, this place is super awesome! The food is extremely delicious!! I get the brown stew chicken with the peas and rice and cabbage. I can eat from the take out order at least two days. I wish I had a picture of my most recent experience however I started eating it shortly after getting home. Just try it and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
