First visit, went for the Friday fish fry. It was great. Very busy place. 20 minute wait when we arrived so plan accordingly. Plenty of parking. Wide menu, many many classic American dishes. We had really good service, they move quick here, turn over a lot of tables. Highly recommend if youre local or from out of town

One of my favorite local restaurants! Food is always delicious and service is super attentive. Extensive cocktail list, affordable wine options, PLUS thc seltzers! The menu is updated seasonally so there’s always new items to try. Tables fill up fast so I recommend coming earlier (around 4-5pm) as they do not take reservations. All around a super cozy and fun atmosphere!

The Marlboro is definitely our favorite restaurant!! the bbq chicken flatbread is my absolute favorite, and the chicken wing dip is amazing. forgot to get a picture of his burger, but they’re always juicy and delicious!! the bartenders are great, even as busy as it is, they do an awesome job. the servers are always super friendly and helpful, and the kitchen staff- well the pictures say a thousand words. 10 out of 10 recommend! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!

Went there with my wife. We ate at the bar and the service by the bartender was incredible. She was very attentive and very welcoming. The food was very delicious and came out of the kitchen HOT!!! We ordered french fries extra crispy and they were done perfectly!!! The giant pretzel was to die for!!!

We just left there and had a nice dinner. Our server was great. The reason for this review was that the blonde bartender totally ignored us as we were at the bar waiting for a table to have dinner. Cash put out, bar side, and trying to get her attention, she purposely went to others before us. I’m sorry but when you do not take reservations and folks need to wait at the bar for their table you should never be shunned looking to be served a beverage. Bar service would rate a 1 if I could separate it

I ordered 3 fish frys for take out. The waitress that brought the dinners to me was very polite and efficient. The fish frys however left alot to be desired fish was tasteless and overdone , the french fries were overdone also and tasted like the fish I’m assuming that they were cooked in the same oil. It was definitely not what I expected.

This is a hidden gem but local favorite place to hang out at the bar with free popcorn, or eat in the dining room. The drinks are very strong so you do get your money’s worth. I was intrigued by the chicken wing dip burger and the cheddar cheese encapsulated the dip beautifully so it wasn’t as messy as it could have been. The only thing I didn’t like about the burgers is they seem to be cooked in a thick layer of crunchy spices that mostly consists of salt, and it detracts from the actually good taste of the burger. Their fries are perfectly crisp though and make up for the salty burger. Fish fry is decently crispy but lacks pepper or other spices. The coleslaw is rather liquidy but the top parts were good before sloshing the liquid out on the fries. It’s a good price for being 2 servings. The brisket Mac n cheese tastes like cowboy burger in a bowl. The beer cheese is extra creamy and it’s comfort food at its finest.
Wait staff is very friendly and seem to love their jobs. They will text you when your table is ready, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised each time we’re told 35-40 minutes, only to get texted in half the time. It seems very busy during dinner time but after 6:30 is when it thins out.

Nice restaurant in restored building. Restoration was very well done, creating large open spaces but keeping the bar area separate enough to keep the noise from intruding into the dining room.
Mostly young staff, very polite and energetic. This may be due to proximity to the county community college.
Very good French onion soup – lots of rich flavor and well cooked onions. Cheese was a bit over browned but not burned. The bread holding the cheese up had absorbed most of the broth, so I asked for some extra broth and was pleasantly surprised when the server brought a large bowl of the soup. Yum yum
I accompanied the soup with the petite Wedge salad and was glad I didn’t order the full sized version. Very good wedge, generous crumbled bacon – overall very nice.
