This is a really cute Korean American fusion cafe in the heart of Takoma Park. Love the homie feel and friendly vibes. Stopped by and ordered the ban chan sampler, shrimp tempura bento box and a kalbi/ salmon dish. Everything here is very authentic. Don’t sleep on the crowd or chefs. The kalbi and salmon were cooked just right. Ribs marinated well and very tasty. The bento box is filled with plenty fried goodies. Scallion pancake and the seaweed was a nice touch.

Had vegetarian Kim Chee fried rice with two eggs… Damn. I haven’t had it this good since I was in Hawaii. Not too salty, flavorful, hot and fresh…I mean damn. Added vegetarian bacon, and a peanut butter malt shake…wow. I wish I knew about this place sooner. 100% recommended.

This is small place right in the junction and the fold was very good. You don’t expect when u walk in but the food was tasty.y friend has the Korean potato pan cakes and Korean style chicken wings. The pan cake was light and delicious. They frappes are a must try. I had the blue berry mango. The sugar was perfect and I loved it.

We absolutely loved our dinner. There was something for the picky kids, vegans, and carnivores in our group.

Fun cafe atmosphere, and seems like, if you’re ordering breakfast/brunch, you’re in luck. The place was hopping around lunch time and people looked happy. The salad I ordered sounded promising, but this was handily the weirdest salad I’ve ever gotten. My gluten free dining partner ordered the gluten free fried rice and found it inedible.

Went here for the first time today and I am totally obsessed. The bibimbap and miso soup were delicious, the servers and staff were extremely kind and attentive, and the ambiance is casual and clean. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid and sadly it’s not as busy as it used to be, but the food is just as delicious as I remember. When I was young, I got a green tea milkshake every time and I’m happy to say it tastes just as amazing as always. Last week I went and had the japchae and kimchi trio while my friend got the bibambap loaded with steak, chicken, and eggs. We were incredibly satisfied and felt our stuffed stomachs matched the homey feel just right. Will be back soon!

This is a great place to bring people with conflicting tastes. Non-adventurous diners can enjoy the burgers, more adventurous diners can sample various Korean food (the steak is quite good), and healthnuts and vegans will have a lot of choices. The dining area is initimate, but a little too small for my tastes. Good place for casual dining and great for any meal.

I had the delicious spicy tofo and soba, one friend had the kimchi fried rice with egg, and the other friend had the pene pasta with pesto. All of us were very satisfied! Very friendly and helpful service, and fair pricing. Despite the modest decor, the quality of the cooking here is excellent. If you are in Takoma Park, and have taste for something out of the ordinary, definitely try this unique take on Korean fusion.

Mark’s kitchen staff was very nice. The welcoming atmosphere brought me back. I had a good asparagus and shiitake mushroom omelette, and a nice cup of coffee. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Plus a nice mix of Korean flavors.
