Market is the former Sophia’s on Market, located in Camp Hill, PA – within the Shoppes of Hampden shopping center. Megan Seiferth, former head pastry chef of Sophia’s, took ownership of the café in December of 2018, and lovingly named it Market. Sophia’s was open 13yrs; Megan worked there for 12.5yrs. Market serves Breakfast + Lunch Monday – Friday and Brunch on Saturdays. Mostly all of Market’s offerings are still made from scratch, with fresh ingredients. You can also find sweets, treats and snacks of all kinds! And don’t forget! Market is BYOB. An absolute gem of a cafe, great food, fresh soups (the chicken noodle is like Mom’s, cure all soup), sandwiches are delicious, salads fresh … can,t find a negative thing to say about their food and menu. Two, years ago, new the area, I found this gem. The family touch is what I love the best in addition to the food. Extraordinary service, lots of extra personal care paid to their clients, lots of kindness extended to all who visit. AND, their catering is excellent. If you haven’t enjoyed the great food and fellowship … give it a go … good for the head, heart and soul.

We order online from work and today was very disappointing. I got a caesar salad added chicken and my bill was al ittle over 16.00. The chicken was over grilled and so dry that it was hard and the Croutons were huge and so hard i thought i broke a tooth. No fork or napkin. Too much money to throw away your food

The food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming. I heard servers calling some customers by name, which is always reassuring since that means they have regular customers!

Hubby and I went for brunch last weekend and will be back. We shared a strawberry pop tart that was flaky and had just the right amount of sweetness. I wish they had more flavors. For his meal, he had a generous portion of fluffy pancakes and water. I had the classic breakfast with a cold brew coffee with oat milk and caramel. All of it was reasonably priced and service was good.

A very nice lunch in Camp Hill!
Upon entering, my friend and I see the casual outdoor seating. Nothing fancy but enough for a nice lunch. The menu is simple and easy to understand. They have all things from breakfast to lunch. The indoor area is fresh and modern and clean. Every seat was pretty much filled. It was nice to see many folks eating local.
There is a display full of freshly backed sweet treats though I didn’t get anything. I decided on the crispy chicken with potato salad for lunch. Ordering was easy at the counter. We received a number and the food came to our table. The sandwich was fresh and hot. The chicken was moist and crispy. The bun was soft and tomato and lettuce fresh. I wish it had a bit more sauce but overall great. The potato salad was homemade and delicious. Not overly tangy or sweet. Not too salty either. The pickles on the side were homemade too. Crisp and sweet with a bit of dill.
My favorite part of eating at this establishment was noticing that it is woman led. Every employee there was female identifying. That is difficult to find in a male dominated field. So happy to support them. They deserve your business.

It’s been a while since I’ve dined here. I love enjoying an al fresco breakfast. With so many options on the menu, it was tough to pick one to try. You can’t go wrong with Chorizo Eggs Benedict though! The service is friendly and attentive. Any time I’m in that area for breakfast, I’ll be stopping by.

The food was incredible—everything from the fresh sandwiches on croissants, wraps, and artisan bread to the pasta, salads, and desserts was a hit. I lost count of how many people came up to tell me how much they enjoyed their lunch.
