We stopped here for the first time for brunch after USA vs. Canada Men’s hockey watch party next door. Very friendly atmosphere and environment. Staff were kind and helpful. Food was excellent and price was affordable/reasonable. Will come back here again. Highly recommend if you’re in town.

Stopped in for the first time and instantly felt welcomed by the friendly atmosphere and kind staff. I ordered the chipped beef on toast with a side of sausage for breakfast and it was hearty, flavorful, and very satisfying. Everything was prepared just right and tasted comforting and fresh. I would gladly return again and can confidently recommend this place for both breakfast and lunch.

This was a small restaurant in downtown Maple Shade. We stopped here for breakfast, although they have both breakfast and lunch. The had a good amount on the menu and the food was good. Everything was well made and they made everything we asked for such as over cooked home fries.

The star of this place for be is related to the accessibility. As in all of my reviews I look for how accessible it because i have severely limited mobility.

This restaurant has a front and back entrance with street parking in the front and a parking lot in the back. If you need a ramp that is in the back. Once you enter from the back you have your choice of tables with chairs which is right there and then booths around the front. The bathrooms are also right there as you enter from the back. Even the bathroom is done well which has two stalls, one which is large enough to hold my walker comfortably.

My husband works near here and I will return again and again. It’s so rare to find a place that is so accommodating and the food is really good. Even the fountain soda is good and again I rarely find that.

They also have an area for large groups and it looked like a buffet area.

Found this little gem from other reviews. Great hometown diner. All the classics comfort food you want in a diner. The service was fast and friendly and the food hit the spot. The burger was that perfect combo of flavors…meat, onions, bacon, mushrooms and that perfect hint of grease. The bun was toasted and buttery. The eggs and home fries…delish. inside was classic diner….was waiting for Flo to show up.

On Tuesday, February 20, I went out for breakfast with my sister and my son. Before going to Marissa, we stopped by the café next door because we wanted to try their coffee and then have breakfast at Marissa.

Unfortunately, we were not allowed to eat there simply because we were carrying coffee from another place. The person in charge told us that outside food was not allowed. I don’t understand this at all, especially since we were planning to order and eat the restaurant’s food — not just sit there consuming food from somewhere else.

I won’t be coming back. This makes no sense to me. We were actually supporting two local businesses on the same street, and they expected us to throw away what we had already purchased in order to eat at the restaurant. That doesn’t make sense at all.

Very poor service.

Different Cheesesteak #1188. Aka Maritsas Main St Cafe. I got a cheesesteak, egg and cheese. My favorite thing about Maritsas is that they said yes. Cheesesteak, egg and cheese is not on the menu. The nice young woman at the cash register went and asked if they could make one and they said yes. The meat and egg were mixed very well together. Cheese melted on top/bottom. The roll was soft’ish and toasted. The roll worked with the hardy meat and egg. The 2nd half of this sandwich was very good, the next with Bar-B-Que sauce and time in the air fryer. Good spot if you need a solid meal in a clean well run place.

Small town diner vibes which makes me happy. I got a pork roll and Monterey jack omelette with home fries and both were soft on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside. Cooked perfectly, not a hint of overcooked dryness. Just really good simple breakfast at a good price.

A Jersey diner, and that’s exactly what I wanted. Maritsa’s isn’t a big glass and chrome streamliner, but it’s got all that I want on the inside. Service was on the spot, but not overdone. Food was a simple omelette and fried potatoes, and it was quick, hot, and delicious. Would definitely return.

Heard good things about this place, and since we were in the area decided to order pick up. I would say that of the four dishes that we got, everybody said that their food was either not great or OK. I ordered a chicken dish that was described as being “smothered” in a creamy white sauce, with spinach and melted mozzarella on top. There was absolutely no creamy white sauce anywhere to be found, which was disappointing because the chicken, while well seasoned, was fairly tough to eat. Then the side of linguine was over cooked and under-sauced. Not a great experience.
