Decided to stop at Cookies Kitchen and have breakfast with my 7 yr old today. We both ordered eggs , pancakes and sausage. I also had bacon and an English muffin . The waitress was nice but I did t see her name displayed nor did she introduce herself . We didn’t wait long for our food and it came out in generous proportions. My daughter loved her eggs and pancake . I also enjoyed this breakfast. The bathrooms were clean and this place gave out an old time feel . I would definitely go back and next time will have to try lunch or dinner .

Went here for the first time today and I absolutely loved it. I loved the prices, atmosohere, and food. Very homely and cute decorations and our waitress was so kind along with her excellent service! I got the crispy chicken wrap and then the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting on the outside. The cake was extremely moist. Not a hint of dryness to it. We also tried the mozzarella sticks and they had such a unique flavor and breading I loved them!!!! The place was also very CLEAN even the restrooms. I will be coming back here because this place is one of those hidden gems that you don’t find very often. Thank you Cookies Kitchen!!!

We checked out Cookies in Pasadena after being told it was a cute, good little spot for breakfast. It is definitely a small place, and it looked clean inside. It’s also self-seating if there’s a table available, which is fine — just something good to know before you go.
Unfortunately, the service from Alex really set a tone right away. She came to the table with no introduction or greeting and immediately asked if we were ready to order. Her whole demeanor was like she didn’t want to be there or be dealing with customers. When I ordered steak and eggs, I clearly asked for sliced tomatoes instead of home fries — but I was still served home fries. The eggs were fine, but the steak was nothing special and definitely not memorable.
My boyfriend ordered sausage patties, fried eggs, and home fries. He said his meal was just okay overall, but he did not like the home fries — they were more like a hash and just not good.
On the positive side, Sharif and another young gentleman working the floor were both attentive, friendly, and helpful. They were the only part of the experience that actually felt welcoming.
I know food and service are both part of the overall experience, and for us this visit didn’t live up to the recommendation we were given. Even though the location is convenient, I’m not sure I would rush back based on this experience.

This place is excellent! Food portions are plentiful and the service is excellent. Noah was out server and he was really funny and entertaining. We had pecan pancakes and they were so fluffy! Plus the decor in this place is wild! It fills up quick but the staff is still super polite and moves fast. Excellent experience all around. Will return- they day they change the decor for every holiday and season!

The waitress was very nice and friendly. We went there on Friday around 11:30 so it wasn’t busy. I order a brunch burger with no pickle. It took about 15 mins to get our food after ordered. My food was good. The restaurant is quite small might not be a good idea to bring a stroller in especially when they are busy. We might try their breakfast next time. I heard from the waitress that the owner even come to cook for their customers which is nice!

This place is a little Pasadena hidden gem. The breakfast is awesome. We had chipped beef and sausage gravy, both were delicious. The service is great.

I have to rave about the french toast; it was probably some of the best french toast I have ever ate. The place was cozy as well, and decorated for Christmas! Other than the christmas decor, the regular decor is pretty nice! Wish I was from the area or id be here all the time. Definitely worth a try
