We had lunch here to try one of the more traditional, long-standing seafood spots in town. The atmosphere is simple and old-school, clearly focused on function rather than style.
The food was acceptable but fairly average. Portions were decent and the seafood seemed fresh enough, but nothing we tried really stood out in terms of flavor or execution. It feels more routine than memorable.
Service was correct and efficient. Overall, not a bad experience, just a fairly mediocre one compared to some stronger seafood options in Puerto Vallarta. Works if you’re nearby, but not a destination spot.

We stopped here for dinner. Is a small place. Very busy. Be prepared to wait for a table. Well worth the wait! Amazing food! Large portions. Excellent service. We learned that they also have beer and wine off menu.

WOW!!! Consistency is key and the family that owns Marisqueria Los Lirios does not disappoint! We dined a few times during our stay because it was that good! They have the BEST of a few things we enjoy: Grilled Fish Tacos, Pico de Gallo, and Agua Fresca hibiscus & limonada. I cannot get over how good their food is, the only disappointment here is not getting a table when they’re busy so, it’s worth waiting for if their tables are full. They don’t serve alcohol but will let you bring some to enjoy with your meal. Do yourselves a favour and dine here while you can, when you can! Our sincere compliments to the family, Chef’s Kiss!!!

I hardly leave any reviews normally, but this place totally deserves it! The food was really yummy and beautifully presented. The waiter was very kind and explained us what each dish was thoroughly. The restaurant is located in a quiet place, and it’s surrounded by plants, which I loved. Plus, you can actually see the kitchen and people cooking, so it gives you even more trust in the quality of the dishes. Definitely coming back!!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Tucked away off the busy street on a quiet corner. A family-owned restaurant with tables on the sidewalk. You can see them preparing food in the kitchen. A local favorite serving the best and freshest seafood.
What we loved: Shrimp, Fish, and Seafood Tostada, Fish Burrito, and the Seafood Plate with Garlic and Butter. Everything was flavorful And delicious.
Service was amazing, warm, and welcoming. Great way to end our trip. Can’t wait to come back.

Avoid This Tourist Trap – Terrible Food & Toxic Atmosphere
Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆
I rarely use the word “disgusting,” but it is the only one that fits this establishment. After giving this place two chances, I can safely say I will never step foot in here again.
The Service: Non-Existent
The owner needs to seriously re-evaluate their staff. The servers are incredibly rude and refuse to engage with customers. One older staff member spent the entire time scrolling through Facebook on his phone rather than providing even basic service. It’s clear they don’t want to be there, and they make sure you feel it.
The Kitchen: Miserable Energy
The atmosphere is heavy. Every person in the kitchen looks miserable, as if they are being forced to work against their will. That lack of care translates directly into the food.
The Food: Unsafe & Overpriced
The food is genuinely awful and left me with an aftertaste so bad it made me vomit.
• Fried items: Tasted like they were cooked in old, cheap, rancid oil.
• Grilled items: Had a bitter, burnt flavor—a clear sign of a dirty, unwashed grill.
• The Price: At $60 MXN for a single fish taco, this is a total rip-off.
The Verdict
They are shamelessly taking advantage of both tourists and locals alike. You are paying premium prices for “bottom of the barrel” quality and zero hospitality.
Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.

This place had the best seafood! We went a couple of times just to he able to try different things. We’ve tried the shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, shrimp any style which we got coconut shrimp and garlic/butter, and shrimp ceviche. Everything was absolutely delicious. They have outdoor sitting only and gets full pretty quickly, so I suggest getting there earlier. Everything was delicious abs highly recommend checking this place out. We definitely will be back when we visit PV!

On the last day of our trip we ordered takeout from here and WOW! Every one was so impressed, the food was incredible. We ordered the tuna sashimi, ceviche mixto (camarón y pulpo), aguachile, burrito de pulpo, burrito mixto. If we had discovered this spot sooner in the trip, we would have for sure came again! Recommend stopping by.
