The shrimp diavlo was good but could have been more spicy. The steak taco was not flavorful and kind of bland. Their gordita however was good. Service was slow even though it was an empty restaurant when we were there.

Congratulations on your 4th anniversary, Chema #2! It was our first time visiting, and the Gordita de Lengua with beans and cream was absolutely delicious. The Cóctel de Camarón had a truly authentic Clamato sauce. The salsas were spicy ️ (just the way they should be), and thankfully we had horchata and agua de jamaica to cool things down. Everything was delicious, and the service was great!

Excellent Mexican seafood. They start you off with some complimentary chips and salsa and a little cup of crab soup which was delicious. I got the special which was a seafood medley served in a pineapple and my girlfriend got a shrimp cocktail. Both were flavorful and well portioned.

I’m from California and this was my first time in Chicago. Dalia gave great service and was so kind. The food was delicious and authentic! This has been our go to spot for Mexican food. The micheladas are so good as well!! I definitely recommend and I will be coming back every time I visit.

Took my mom here for Mother’s Day dinner for her favorite Red Snapper, this was the small size which she was shocked at the size, she said they served her a whole shark lol. Food was good, the servers were friendly and the live karaoke singer was a nice touch. Overall, it was nice. Price was almost reasonable until we realized after we paid the tip by cash that the GRATUITY was already added to the bill! It was only 4 of us! Usually gratuity is added to parties of 5 or more.I hope the waitress shared the cash with the other waitress that helped serve us.
Hopefully, people read this and make sure you ask if tip is included prior to tipping cash which I prefer to do. Also, there is a credit card surcharge fee which is the norm these days. Bill was close too 200 and surcharge was $5.60 with an 18% gratuity added.

This hidden gem right in the heart of Hermosa Park is phenomenal. They offer a small bowl of crab soup as an appetizer along side the home made tortilla chips. Alondra was the waitress that welcomed us in and took our order. She made us feel right at home. Her hospitality definitely made us sure we had chosen the correct location for Mother’s Day dinner.
An appetizer we had the shrimp ceviche they paired it along with avocado and tostada. It includes cilantro, tomato, thin sliced purple onion chopped shrimp and perfectly seasoned limes as well.
I had ordered the molcajete mar y Tierra (other places the serving is small) but here it was huge. The shrimp in the dish was cut in half and cooked perfectly the skirt steak was cooked well done (they’ll cook it to your liking) most places load up the molcajete with beans, but not here they give a good amount. Trust me when I say one molcajete can literally fill you up and you’ll still have more than half to take home. My husband had the Paelle de Mar. (Seafood mixed rice) it was delicious. He loves seafood and he was happy. My kids had their camarón empanizado (breaded shrimp) and they loved it. They’re picky eaters so we were worried they wouldn’t eat anything.
My husband also had a taco de Al pastor (pork). I can go on and on about the food. They ensured everything was good but not an annoying amount which is great because we were able to enjoy our dinner. I loved this restaurant and we are glad we decided to try something different. Thank you to the Chef and the hostess and waitresses. We will be back again very soon. Oh I forgot to add they have a great selection for cocktails. Plenty to choose from. I had the Piña Colada.

My girlfriend found this restaurant on Google Maps and I’m glad she did. We ordered the siete mares, shrimp tacos and fish tacos. Everything was very well seasoned and served hot. The portion of seafood in the soup was generous and I really liked the flavor of the grilled shrimp im my tacos. As soon as we sat down they served us chips and salsa as well as a small serving of soup. Both tasted great, especially the chips and salsa. If this restaurant was located in Lincoln Park I would be here all the time. I definitely plan on returning in the near future.
