Kanpai easily now one our favorite spots in the area! Everyone is always super friendly, the numerous TV’s all have on whatever game is on that night, and the food is delicious! Jolee has been our waitress multiple times and she has been incredible each time! Super friendly, remembered us after just one visit, and answers all of our questions! They have different specials every day that are always a good excuse to try something new on the menu. Personally, the Filet Mignon hibachi dinner is my favorite, especially paired with their shrimp sauce delicious.
Their variety of Sake is very good, and you can get flights, or full bottles! Definitely recommend the Lychee flavor!
Kanpai has become a regular spot for us, and we can easily recommend it, either for a date night, or just to get out of the house, Kanpai will not disappoint!

I had a great experience here. The sushi was on point from start to finish. I ordered the rainbow tuna roll, and the portion size was perfect—not too big and not too small. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the jalapeño and sriracha on top added a nice kick without overpowering the flavor.
I also ordered the uni nigiri, and the market price was very reasonable for the quality. The uni was fresh, rich, and exactly what you’d hope for.
Overall, this is a great spot for a night out. Quality sushi, fair pricing, and a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

Everything was pretty good. The vegetables were really salty when they came out mixing it with the rice toned it down a bit. My kid enjoyed the veg. Sushi do it was a win

I wanted to wait to make my review and consider any excuse that I could come up with for the HORRIBLE dining experience we received. (No not packed out). Our food was great as normal, but the total experience as a whole was just bad. We were sat promptly and greeted. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children. Placed our food order and over an hour later, our entrees arrived. When it finally arrived we ask for a side of rice. That bowl of rice was an additional $4. We literally ate our entire meals and the side of rice had still not arrived. It finally came so late, that we had it put in a to-go box. Now here’s the kicker…. my wife and her friend ordered a bottle of wine (basic brand $13 at HT) then the food took so long, they ordered another. We expect to pay more than average for the wonderful sushi they have….. wait for it….. $60 per bottle of $13 wine! WITH A SCREW ON TOP! (We unscrewed it) then top it off with charging 20% gratuity for a table of 3 adults. We normally tip 20% anyways. But I feel this was intentionally added due to the service. Probably won’t go back. If we do, I hope the experience in service, is as good as their food. When the pricing is elevated, food quality AND SERVICE needs elevated as well. Little helpful advise.

For best service, use DoorDash. Our first time ordering via DoorDash was a great experience and the food is great for the price compared to other pricier sushi locations. Ordering for a pick-up, however, lead to a disaster.
As other reviews note multiple times, customer service is abysmal. I had an order placed at 5:15pm and was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived at 5:45pm and was told five more minutes. I was confused why large DoorDash orders seemed to be getting priority when those orders aren’t open until 5:30pm, but was told the kitchen had gotten backed up. The truth, as later was discovered, was my food ticket was never in the kitchen to begin with and it would be 10 more minutes. I eventually received my food at 6:15PM. Originally, aside from the other food I ordered, I placed an order for 2 Hibachi Chicken dinners. I only received one. Upon going back into question why one of my items was missing, it turns out, despite having my having my order read back to me, a second order for a Hibachi Chicken was not placed.
In all of this, no customer retention or customer service practices were utilized. I was just out of luck, as they say. It is now 7:00pm and I have just gotten home to find that I am missing gyozas.
While the food is good, I don’t think it’s worth the lack of a good customer experience and would highly recommend choosing elsewhere.

We came here for dinner an hour before closing on a weeknight and had a great experience. We ordered Edamame, Hibachi Chicken, Alaskan Roll, Philly Roll and a side of Filet Mignon. Everything tasted great and came out very timely. It was a little pricier than most similar places, but it was well worth it!

The wait staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is excellent—great quality, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and overall experience. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. You’ve absolutely got to try it!

First time at Kanpai! Very friendly staff with nice restaurant layout and atmosphere. Our server was great! Drinks were good minus my husband’s martini. Bartender didn’t know how to make a proper martini so we had to send it back and order something different. Prices are high but all the food was super delicious. That being said for 3 people with drinks, appetizer, food and tip we paid $300.00. This will be a special occasion place for us but I can definitely say the food was scrumptious and had a wonderful presentation! Highly recommend!

Very disappointing experience. I had a simple spicy tuna roll, it was 98 percent cucumber, 1 percent spicy mayo, 1 percent actual tuna. The service was flat and un welcoming. With other more enjoyable experiences around I don’t see a reason to come back.
