I found this place as I was driving by and will definitely be coming back. Food, service, ambiance was all in-line and made for fantastic and relaxing lunch.
The salsa were great, green is nice and creamy smooth. I had my michelada with a Victoria and it was nice and spicy but not overpowering. Great michelada mix of ingredients.
The campechana was delicious and very well presented. I really enjoy the oysters on top as they invite you to get to the best part, first .
Michelada and campechana for a hangover , but I think I’m ready to misbehave, again

First time going there. The 7 mares are one of the best I have had. My co-workers said other food items are very good too.

Literal TRASH. Left there less than an hour ago and I’m feeling very sick! You’re better off giving your money to all the homeless outside. This place needs to be reviewed by a health inspector and the better business bureau.

Some of the best service, amazing food, and centrally located in the heart of Orange County. La Tostada Caliente is by far my Fav. But you can go wrong with any other dish. Highly recommend it

I went out looking for authentic Mexican food and I think I found it. I was definitely the only person in the place where English was my first language. Nothing fancy, but the food was very good.
I got a trio of street tacos (carne asada, pollo, and El Pastor). They gave the option of regular tortillas or “hand made”, so of course I asked for the hand made ones. I also asked for the on house hot sauces and got the Salsa Verde with a basket of tortilla chips. They were out of the red variety today. 3 tacos and a Pineapple Jarritos was about $13, so price was reasonable. The gentleman that came to the register and the lady that brought out my food were very nice. Obviously there is no lack of Mexican places to dine in Santa Ana, but if you’re looking for no-frills authentic food, give it a try!

This place is occasionally packed depending on the time of day. The customer service is also great! I have only visited this place a few times for their beef torta and it is BOMB. For such a cheap price, you will get a torta that will fill you up. Warm and toasted buns, tender beef, fresh veggies, and crunchy jalapenos with red onions on the side. One of our torta bun was a bit well-done, but our waiter insisted that he would replace them if it didn’t work out for us. We ended up eating it anyway and it was delicious regardless. All in all, there are other items on the menu that I need to try (customers seem to enjoy everything on the menu as far as I’ve seen during my visits), but the torta here is a winner! (:

This place is so good. I usually order a campechana, sometimes just Cameron y pulpo. That’s what I got here. That green salsa that they serve with chips is amazing. The chips are definitely homemade like their tortillas. The creamy salsa has a lot of kick to it on the back end. It had garlic and avocado flavor to it, and I loved it. The cocktail is fresh. Lots of shrimps, lots of pieces of octopus. I’d like a bit more cucumber and onion in it, but otherwise it’s really good. Service is good, the place is clean, and they have 3 or 4 flatscreens to watch the games.
