This places was too hyped up on TikTok. That’s where we found it. Only came for a mocajete, it wasn’t great, I’ve had better. Same with the cocktail de cameron. The rice and beans were meh. The agua de Jamaica was good same with the Ochata. The tortillas were heat up in the microwave cause they kept falling apart. Service was good, server was very nice and polite. Music came in and out. Place has potential.

Today I went to the restaurant with my whole family. I was looking for a family-friendly atmosphere and good food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Two very friendly, smiling, and helpful young women served us. Reina was my server. Everything was fine until the manager started yelling and swearing at the employees: “In the kitchen!” It was so unpleasant that we could all hear it outside. The atmosphere became very tense, and we decided to leave. I hope they change managers because we were looking for a family-friendly place where we would be treated with kindness and respect. That said, my family and I will never go back. Now I understand why the place was a bit empty, and believe me, it wasn’t the food.

We decided to give this place a try, specifically for the “Octopus VIP, but it was a big Disappointment! It was burnt and dry. We also ordered a Molcajete de Mariscos, and it had a mix of some seafood with great deal of jaiba inside, and a few shrimp and crab legs around.

I came to Los Chavalones Restaurant just to make time while my car was being fixed. I was thinking im not gonna like it. l will just tell you: ” Dont Judge the Book by its Cover”. I ordered a tostada mixta and the sea food was so fresh and tasty. Really, it was as it my taste buds had a blast inside of my mouth. I saw on another table clients of the restaurant eating a Molcajete , a special plate composed of either seafood or different types meats or seafood and meats in the same Molcajete (they calI it “Mar Y Tierra”). I didnt get to try it but according to the people eating it, the Molcajete Mar Y tierra was very delicious and encouraged me to try it next time. The place is clean and organized. The bathroom is also clean. The cherry on top of my visit, was the waitress ALMA, a young lady who provided me with a very excellent costumer service. She took the time to explain my options on the food listed on the menu. She made me feel comfortable asking any question about the food and my options.

Awesome place for lunch and dinner. Food was really good and food portion enough to really fill you up and have left overs. Menu pictures dont show real size of the plates. In person they are really big and alot so order to share some dishes.

Great Food, Great Service, Great atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming ,attentive, the food was on point. Nice vibes !! 10 out of 10 recommend. Did I mention it was reasonably priced. Nice way to end the night .
