Place looks nice and I’m assuming the owner is the one that has a cyber truck parked outside , which is shocking because the food is utter garbage, tasteless and the beans on my plate were cold, and how you expect a Mexican restaurant to be serving white rice, crazy. Service wasn’t great either. Was waiting over an hour for my food, and the server never checked up on our table, only got to ask for a refill when she finally brought our food. Meat is dry, overcooked, overall ridiculous for the price these people charge. Get ready to leave hungry!

Service wasn’t attentive at all server wasn’t warm and friendly and even it was my first time there she did not suggest anything which if she did she will definitely upsell more. However I love the decorations goes well with the theme

The waitress was nice and friendly. The order took around 25 minutes, not that bad with three other tables being served. We ordered shrimp empanadas. They were ok, not too much taste but they serve them with salsa verde and that save them. We also order ceviche de pescado but they should change the name to ceviche de pico de gallo & pepino. If I’m paying $26 for a fish ceviche, I’m expecting to find some fish in the plate.

Please, if we’re paying $51 for sea food, be honest and prepare a good dish including fish not only tomato, onion and cucumber.
We complained with the mesera but there was not reaction from the kitchen. I guess they don’t care about the comensales. We will not come back to the Islitas.

We left a good tip because the waitress was very nice.

Had a pretty enjoyable meal at this place. The molcajetes had plenty of food and the sauces were flavorful. Also had some cheladas made with Pacifico beer which were delicious. Overall a great experience and a place to repeat in the future.

Food was delicious and plentiful. But for a Friday nite dinner, they were very short-staffed. One lady did everything but grill. So, there were order mixups etc. But good food at reasonable prices.

For a run down little spot, it sure was expensive. Instead of Spanish rice like most places, it was just a scoop of cold white rice. The beans tasted like a can of walmart brand pinto beans that had a pepper added to it. But the water was good.
