Horchata ** stars as it had too much cinnamon and tasted a bit like the Styrofoam cup. Lots of sugar.
Michelada ** stars as it had too much ice for what we paid for and the flavor was blah.
Didn’t taste like fresh lime juice, it tasted like the squeeze bottle.
When it’s packed with customers, the food and drinks get made poorly. The staff was tentative to our needs every 5 minutes or so. When they came over and saw our ceviche plate was still full, they asked if I would like it to go. I responded with, I would never take a plate like this to my home (with a smile) I went on to explain how the shrimps were spongy and full of water with every squishy bite. She just agreed and took the plate. We didn’t get any type of refund or response. All in all Our food was:
Ceviche de camarón (shrimp) 0 stars! I’m tired of places thawing out shrimp in the last minute to serve customers when they run out of freshly made ceviche. Skimped out on shrimp. 70% vegetables and 30% shrimp is horrible. SEE THE PICS, Bruised cucumber and tomatoes left over from 1st batch (from day before or morning) gets mixed in with the new batch, but the onion in this “dish” (if thats what they call this) really never loses it’s crunch so that was about the only item that held on for dear life. There is not one restaurant that can fool me with this process. I WANT FRESH CEVICHE! This was worse than the time that los Magueyes served it to us in the same manner only Magueyes offered a refund.
Camarones al Nayarit *** stars as the amount of shrimp was satisfactory, but the flavor was taken over by onion. The seasoning was not bad and I LOVE ONION but the amount just didn’t go well with the seasoning. I added lime to mask some of that flavor. The fries that come with this plate, dipped in the sauce is always my favorite at any location.
Balazos **** stars as you cannot really mess this up. clamato juice, lime, tajin and an oyster in a shot glass. That’s it. The oyster is larger in other locations (not all locations) It was a good size though. A little Tapatío and bottoms up.
To sum it up, If you want to get drunk and sing karaoke to Latin music and occasional random songs in English with some friends on a Friday night, This is the place. The food I’m sure has its ups but the ceviche for me was horrible! Waitress never came over with the check so I walked to the register on the way out to pay. THE FULL AMOUNT.
Restaurants STOP SERVING THIS CRAP CEVICHE! Give us what we pay for!
Loose blonde lady(in the pic) was very rude and disrespectful. My husband and I took my son here for his birthday. We got the bill and they charged $13.00 just to say happy birthday with a slice of cake that we didn’t ask for. Then the manager Sara was rude and said “ that’s what they charge to sing happy birthday it’s on the menu and do what you have to do if you’re leaving a bad review”.
Waiter Ricardo was there and gave the money back. It should’ve been the restaurant not the server.
Make sure you check your bill at the end.
Most places don’t charge to sing happy birthday with a cake.
This is EXTREMELY bad customer service and a bad look on the restaurant . If you are too busy , then why accept my order in the first place and then give me an order pick up estimate? That absolutely makes no sense to me. If you are too busy, just simply say “currently unavailable” on the app so customers will know not to order at that time.
I will be going elsewhere to get the same food that I ordered here. Mariscos La Sirena will never ever have to worry about me being a future customer and getting my money again. That’s just bad business.

Don’t wait! Go and enjoy this beautiful establishment.
